you are playing to hit a set with your low pocket pairs so you want to see a flop as cheap as possible. Why would you want to pay 4 times as much to see if you hit, and also chase away people preflop that might pay you off if you hit.
Also since you are signalizing so much strength preflop, youre scaring away people with marginal holdings on the flop |
