acdawg712   United States. Oct 08 2009 18:02. Posts 2639 i do this on occasion with trips to confuse the opponents when there is not that much dead money in the pot. This might be one of the first times ive been dealt rolled up Aces in Stud 8, which makes this situation interesting as the opponent's hands are weaker without the pivotal Ace. I wanted this pot multiway since i felt a reraise would fold out the 2 limpers, who probably had either weak pair or 3 bad low cards. I lead 3rd because no one ever folds 3rd and because everyone had bricked, and as expected, all called. Now they put me on a row draw. 5 street is a litle unfortunate since i catch a 3rd, albeit, high club. At this point, I just have to bet for value and hope they have a hand, same with 6th and 7th.
