I checked because I felt I was beat. Why? Because of his raise pf obviously, I don't feel confident with jacks at those stakes, I don't play them aggressively very often. I call for set value and fold most of the time when I feel im beat even tho i shouldn't cause its micro stakes! But it makes me happy cause im right most of the time. I took my time and went to see the hand history and I saw he was pretty tight, not raising with stuff like KJ KQ so I knew I was right, he had an overpair, easy lay down! |

you made the right decision. not questioning that. but the arguement that 'push with any over pair' shouldnt really be made since you had an over pair aswell.
