I didn't really put him on any pocket higher than 6's - didn't really think he had trips either. but i don't know this is probably a really spewy play. he was playing 28 / 9 / 4.5

spew play, why call vbet with A high on river if you think he had pockets higher than 6s? pretty much anything has you beat...i think if u want to play AQs on a board like that probably throw in a RR on flop and bluff it, if he calls/RR your done with the hand unless you hit A or Q on turn
