that turn is very foldable imo, what exactly do you think you're up against? complete straight draw and flush draw board, with the board PAIRED

this would probably be the easiest possible board on which to lay down an overpair

aside:

i guess potting the turn is ok cuz you had the Q of clubs so you had chance to improve your hand, but a better player answer: would potting here be a bad move not holding a club? |

that doesn't mean that you play your overpairs to death, the thing that makes you BETTER than the people who you're playing against is that you can fold overpairs

if you have never folded an overpair at .05/.10 because "everyone there is stupid lol" then you are stupid lol |

i'm thinking about potting the turn and i don't know if it was the right move, seems like if he had ANY kind of draw or hand on the flop, it now beats your queens

i guess the calling on the turn is kind of ok i don't know, you are holding the 3rd nut flush draw but seems like you're getting pretty bad odds and if he called preflop it's pretty likely if he had a flush he'd have better than jack high, so i dunno... straight is definitely possible and trips as he had, but this is a really strange pot. you were only like $3 or so committed by the turn, i don't know if potting was that great of an idea, maybe a 1-2$ probing bet would be better |
