I'm guessing because this bet folds out pocket pairs really often, hands that would just check behind this river. This card is also probably better for Stroggoz's range, as opponents probably aren't double barreling flop and turn w/ A-high, and Stroggoz could easily be c/c two streets with a marginal ace. So, maybe he's thinking that the value of folding out PPs or 2s is worth more than c/cing another street against a bluff?

Although our opponent probably should be firing turn w/ good A-highs for value/protection a decent percentage of the time, assuming they're reasonably aggressive postflop? Shrug. I haven't played online poker in a million years.

He's min raising on the button. He could have any 2...

edit:

Because he 2 barreled you're assuming he has either a pair already, or AQ/AK. You want to use the A to bluff him off his pair for the times he has it.

But if these assumptions are true, that he's weighted to pair or AK/AQ, then shouldn't you be folding the turn?

If you call the turn, you must think he has a fair amount of random 2 garbage less than KQ - unless this is a balance play to make your image tougher.

I 3bet this pretty often pre vs minraise (often offsuit and almost always suited)

Is this a mistake bu v bb

Minraising bu in ring is still only like a 40% maybe a bit higher opening %

I think so, sims flat alot higher equity vs minraise than 2.5x
