Did he misread the river situation or does he really think he makes more allowing ja.sam to flat/raise his call than just straight up raising your lead?

I guess given his holding he figures you are heavy to Ax 2pair which he must be assuming nearly always folds to raise or you also have KJ for the chop so why not lower the barrier of entry for ja.sam and just flat - only thought process I can think of that would explain his play

it's a 4 way pot with a rec in it, so strange exploitative plays like this will happen. guy is is just a rec so who knows why he flat calls here, pretty insane hah

yes these types of recs play nl2k+, making the game soft as ur average nl2 game, however most recs are only slightly losing players, often between -5bb/100 to -15bb/100 w/r. on any given day you might see 2-3 true rec's play. and sometime. they only stay for 1 hand.
