cool river overbet

not sure how i feel about the T5 call but that guy's range is def capped to hell here. i guess 89 can be somewhat reasonable though since it was a double gutter from flop

the T5s hand could be throwing money away.

i suspect the river jam is maybe close to 100% value. the turn is a 5 which is a brick and makes the turn a very favourable spot for an overbet with any strong Queen. this makes the 40%, 75%, 400% sizing 3barrel a very obscure line and impossible to balance. You have to wonder if he actually even uses that turn sizing with QJ.

Maybe I misunderstood but T5 guy is the caller.

Yes he is saying the 105 call may be a very poor call because the guy with AK may be rarely bluffing or playing AQ or worse this way

Would you think there is any benefit to a 2 size turn strat here, maybe just a small part of the range betting smaller like this? Don't know if it would add much ev either way.

Maybe he just made a mistake on the turn or had some player specific reason for 70% and then the river comes and things are even that much better for his range so he just feels he has to rip

Im guessing for the most part here. I just think since people go overbet much more than 70%, here, in reality they get to these river spots so little you have to wonder how balanced they are when they split off to the tree with those sizings.
