Long time since last update. I've been playing mostly NL100 rush on FTP.

I was on my way to nl200 but had to cashout a lot (living expenses, travels and so on...) I have 7k on FTP but with the current situation and no online BR I didn't know what to do. Was thinking about asking for a stake but decided not to.

Since I didn't have much saved up and the money I have in my bank account is a buffert I don't wanna touch , I decided (maybe stupidly) to start regrind at PokerStars... It probably looks silly to start over at NL10 again, but that's the way it is. Started 8 days ago with 150$ and this is my progress so far:

As you can see I actually lost 18 buyins after my good start - which basically was me overplaying my hands way too much. I gave people too little credit - stacking off too light. I realized that a raise on the flop is a super strong move at NL10. Anyway, started to 9 table instead, focused on the fish and things went better.

Biggest pot won:

Starting NL25 today. People probably wonder why I dont play a European skin instead with great rakeback, but the truth is that games are going all the time on PS, no problem starting 9 tables in the morning and table select as well. I prefer playing in the morning and noon when people are at work.

The rake is also ridiculous at NL10, payed 290$ in 27,593 hands - which is equivalent to 10.5 bb/100 hands. But still... raking 29 buyins in such a small sample.

I've lost 10k€ with FTP and I'm playing on PP with a 3k€ br
(I had a hard time to adjust to their style tho ...)

Anyway , why do you play when fishes are at work ?
You want to play against russians , australians and brazilians
So the time you play doesn't matter much I guess ...
But still I found it curious

Damn you beat me to NL25, I'm like, almost there haha. When did you start your NL10 grind?

Started 8 days ago.

Will probably take longer to break nl25. It looks a bit more nitty from what I've seen this hour of play

At NL10 everyone is a fish =)

Well - perhaps its the best time to play in the evening, haven't put that much thought into it. I prefer to play during daytime because then everyone else is busy with work - at the evening these people are available. On iPoker evenings felt like a must, because not many games were running in the morning/noon. But it's slightly different on PS, seems like there are tons of games (at least at low stakes) running all the time.

I started the same thing after cashout my holl role from nl2 .. made a shot at nl100 in less then a 2 months but it didn't went well and then mix of bad run + bad play and realy low volume so I'm still on nl50.. but now I'm transfering to ipoker with good rakeback deal so I'll have more motivation to grind

Could you go more on details about the adjustments you've had to make ?

I started to make some pretty tight laydowns against "heavy" action, i.e. people raising you on the flop IP (especially people raising IP seemed to have the more nutty hand compared to OOP-r). For example folding KK on a T84ds board against a raise. Seems pretty crazy huh? But I really found that almost every time I was up against a set.

Play your big hands KK-AA fast preflop, be a bit more cautious with QQ (especially if you raise UTG and get 3bet by BTN). This is against other regs. Also make your 4bet pretty big, I saw a lot of people calling and folding on the flop. This way you maximize your EV if they only call to improve on flop.

Against the fishes you can widen your shoving range obiovusly. And you should focus on them.

Other than that ... meh... play your big hands fast postflop. Set? Raise and bet and bet. No need to slow down.

Donkbet a lot with both weak and big hands. For example vs a multitabling reg it's great to bet out with KJo from BB on T62 boards or something (When he is the pf-agressor). It's always good to have some equity when doing this. Also fine with pairs. I found them not to play back very often, and when they did you have a pretty good grasp at where you are. Keep in mind to barrel some turn cards as well, those who improve your hand in some way (straightdraws, gutters etc.)

good luck man with the rebuild, looks good so far

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time
