And Pimpdaddy what kind of restaurants are you looking for? I would recommend Dalry road where I live where you get an Italian sea food restaurant, Scottish steak specialist and a really good award winning general cuisine restaurant right next to each other.

There are also a couple Michelin Star restaurants in the city and a ridiculously expensive restaurant in a tower. Indian and Chinese restaurants are almost everywhere, as are the standard pubs with cheap burgers grills etc.

You can't go wrong with bars in the center really for a good pint, and with clubs at Cowgate where all the nightlife is.
