OK, so my desktop shit the bed after a grand total of 10 months. It just randomly shuts off. I love it when it happens in the middle of SNG sessions imo.
Anyways, it happened during a session yesterday and I tilt bought a laptop. I got a laptop because I'm at my girl's place a lot and it's easier to move than a desktop obv.
Asus G71GX
Thoughts on it? I got a good price on it (~750) I think. I'm gonna hook it up to either a 24" or 30" monitor.

Always used an asus notebook and have worked with some of the ASUS Aus people, they're the most reliable laptops around and will survive anything short of a good kicking. Not a bad price either |

Thanks for the tip. Do you know what the max res on the graphics card is? I looked in a few different places and got different answers. I'm not terribly smart with computers, so maybe that's why I don't know. |

Not sure mate, it'll definitely do it high enough for those monitors though I wouldn't worry. Just be sure to use DVI not VGA plugs |

looks great. i haven´t had a asus laptop, but i have been using asus mobos for years. great quality. |
