I am just a casual PLO player having played 125k hands in the past 2 1/2 years or so mostly at 50PLO. I want to play more and actually take a real shot at becoming good. Sessions like today are just mind-bogglingly frustrating. Stuck 6 buy-ins today and although my all-in EV was terrible I feel like for the first time in a long time I played very poorly regardless. Lots of small mistakes that added up over the course of the session + a couple high variance lines.
Anyways here is my All-in EV for the day as calculated for my winning and losing hands based on the percentage chance to win each hand at the point where all the money was put in the middle. Killahenri thinks he runs worse than me. It's hilarious because if I take all 125k hands I can almost guarantee I am between 30-40k below where I should be in terms of percentage to win the pot x money in the point at the point of All-in when it's just simple math. Today alone I'm stuck almost 12 buy-ins in All-in EV. Disgusting.

I know they have run it twice on FTP now.
Maybe one day the day will come where "take the EV" will be an option. Where you just take your % chance to win the pot x the amount of $ in the pot. It'll never happen, but it would be so nice. Eliminate luck forever! Well at least suck-outs  . |

im not trying to be a dick by saying this but like I've never seen you post a hand > PLO50...Are you really running 30k below expectation at these stakes? fuck PLO if that's the case |

Not untrue, but everyone playing at these stakes does. I'm sure you do as well. Certainly a price I pay for playing very infrequently. |

Pretty sure there was some obvious sarcasm there. There is no way fish would ever go for that and thus PS would never go for it. Most regs wouldn't even like it. |

Well this is a single day and I'm $575 or so below equity. Ask Newblish every time we have a grind session he tells me he's never seen anyone run worse than I do. It's comical.
I can pretty much 100% guarantee if I look at my database of all-ins I'm down 30-40k in terms of comparing what I should have won to what I actually won via All-in. It's really disgusting and gross.
Aside:
Also a second comment about the leaks. Like I said I'm sure I have plenty, but if I'm running at equity I'm around a 10pt/bb or higher winner in the game at PLO50 there isn't much point in changing what isn't broken. Fixing little leaks is fine but I'm not about to change the whole dynamic of a style of play that is very effective at this limit.

Post a graph, im curious about your non showdown winnings. Obviously you know theres crazy variance in PLO so i wont go there. I remember thinking you were pretty tight, this is not the way to crush low stakes PLO. Also, I of course have leaks myself, but I am confident I play a pretty optimal game for these stakes.
I would suggest playing some HU, there are a ton a fish that will sit down and even the regs are horrible. It will help u with aggression and def improve ur overall game. |
