Started off with a quick heater this session, managed to be up as high as 115 in less then 1hr 1/2. I really wished I stopped at that point but you know, you always want to keep going. Basically I'm not gonna go into detail because all of you heard the same stories. Basically fucking up 115/ retarded shit all at once + insane tilt rush/ down 100$.
Up until now I've been able to control my tilt where I just bitch about shit online but in a long time in a while I've tilted to the point where I started crazy spewing. I am really hating this shit right now.
Last hand of the session before I was like "OK, enough of this fucking bull shit"
Fucking villain maintaining 18% 3 bet and he has to fucking hit trips when I 4 bet and have a hand.

AidenRoot collected $62.45 from pot
Summary Total pot $65.45 | Rake $3
Board
Seat 1: AidenRoot button showed and won $62.45 with a full house, Queens full of Eights
Seat 2: gnobbern small blind folded before Flop
Seat 3: Aseno Norasi big blind folded before Flop
Seat 4: jwd5 folded before Flop didn't bet
Seat 5: julien25 folded before Flop didn't bet
Seat 6: LikeASet showed and lost with two pair, Queens and Jacks
Anyways, after tonight I'll prolly withdraw my 1.3K Br to the point where i'll have 600 left. This is so that I'm not taking nl50 stabs, so that I'm keeping a slow and steady pace with good consistent development, and that I can continue to work on my rage.
I've been seeing myself improve through another plateau. I've been getting better at taking advantage of fish and value betting thinner mostly. I've also adjusted my play making less calls pf and finding good spots to add more 3 bets and squeezes. I've really still got to work on my tilt control, and also be more dedicated.
March's total profit (including rake/bonus) from nl25 so far would have been about 450-500 if it weren't for some stupid tilt moments. Now it's only 250-300.

Um, not sure if this applies , but make sure to move down if your bank roll isn't at the stakes you're playing. |

I was playing over rolled well above 1K, and very comfortable. |

1) stop thinking so much about money dude
2) If you can help it, dont withdraw, just play NL25 with whatever bankroll you have and set yourself a hand target rather than money target after which you re-evaluate if its worth of moving up
3) I don't get why are you being upset here. Write all you know about him down, think about how would you counter it next time you play against this player type, and quit. Feeling upset will make you feel bad and focus on whining rather than on how to improve your game.
4) I like your decision to quit (Hope you really did after the hand). Whenever you feel you are tilting or the cards are getting to you, quit. Even if it is for five minutes.
5) Stop being attached to the money you lost. Its not your money now. If you had a -2k month and now went up to $300 you would jump around and be euphoric right? But you would have the same money/results. You have a winning month, you beat the rake and got 12BI on top of that, there is absolutely nothing that you can be negative about and you will laugh when you will have -30BI months in the future.

It's not just the money, I'm just impatient I guess. I see some regs at high limits like .50/1 , 1/2 etc posting hands showing mistakes that even I wouldn't make (maybe back then). I also see 2/4 regs and such submit vids to coaches for making videos and they're so bad. I would really love to be at nl1 or 2 if I had the roll right now. I see you doing questionable moves every now and then but I'm sure you could survive and do well at 1/2 and possible 2/4. It just sucks to think that there's people possibly worst than one's self but taking more of the fish's money because they're at higher stakes, though they probably earned their roll.
Oh well, I'm willing to stay humble, pay my dues at the micro's low, a few months longer.

Bad in what? Betting patterns?
These people are very likely to be much better than you or me overall.
There are so many 1/2 and 2/4 regs with very flat thinking processes, but they are better than us because of discipline and consistency.
BR Management
Tilt Control
Game Selection
Seat Selection
Betting patterns
Site selection
number of tables open (HUGE impact on my winrate)
They cant be separated from each other, and being good at betting patterns doesn't means you are better than somebody else.

Didn't really say i was better. Some regs I just dont how they got there, from seeing vids people send to coaches for vid making. Just silly stuff like 3 betting certain hands without history, folding hands deep stacked in +ev situations, tripple barreling with no equity and repping a narrow range, making bad calls at the bottom of range, not opening as many hands when fish in the blinds, etc. Just some people are just more fortunate than others, which is an obvious reality. What I need to work on is the tilt control and the site selection. I wonder if I must abandon PS for now since im not SN. But I love PS... : ( |
