My laptop doesn't have a dedicated gfx card, so its gaming potential is very limited. I can do reallllly low-spec 3d games but they aren't very enjoyable due to low FPS. So, give me some recommendations for games that don't require GFX cards. GBA and SNES games are good.
I have all of the most famous RPGS for SNES, so I don't really need any RPG suggestions. Platformers are good. I'd like some GBA game ideas especially.

Second the Donkey Kong Country suggestion. DKC2 is soooo fucking good on SNES. Hopefully you have a controller though right? Keyboard would suck for most platformers.
Other games I would recommend are Castlevania IV for SNES if you like a challenge/old school style, and all the GBA Castlevania games for more modern style.
Advanced Wars for GBA is a ton of fun.
The original Wario Ware for GBA. Super Metroid for SNES. Super Mario World is an awesome classic! Uhhh... Oh Kirby Super Star for SNES is super fun and high quality game...

Check out zbattle.net. It's like battle.net but for snes emulators. Let me know if you need a good ass kicking in mario kart.
Do you think your computer can run N64 roms? Project64 works well, it was awesome getting to go back and pwn some mario64. |

I will take a look around the internet for super mario world hacks and stuff, that sounds interesting (just 2 years ago I played through the whole game on my SNES for like the millionth time, so some more fresh stuff would be nice).
Yoshi's Island is fantastic but I've played through it a number of times, maybe again won't hurt haha
