Hi guys, haven't been posting too many blogs these days because I like keeping poker results to myself. I have many sessions were I should of won more or had shit EV but whats the point of posting that in a blog. Who cares really since it happens to all poker players all the time. Anyways, I want to make a goal for myself to lose 20 pounds in 3 months. I'm currently at 225-227 pounds and want to get to 205 by April 13. So thats about 7 pounds per month. Going to add an extra 200 calories to it but this is what I got so far in terms of food. Also working out 3 days a week and two 1 hour cardio sessions. Wish me luck. I'll keep you updated. Also you guys want me to post some of my mexico pictures?

i actually work @ school as a personal trainer, your goals are very ambitious. i think you should revise your goals to 15 in 3 months and if you lose 20 treat it as a bonus.
also if you intend to work out 5 times a week your body might get burnt out :/ you'd be surprised but those 2 cardio days should be considered work out days too. obviously to each his own, but i feel like you will reach a point where your body will require more rest in order to lift more weight. you will either plateau or be unable to lift the next day or run the next day at the desired intensity.
also 2K calories is like a bare minimum for someone 5'7 5'8 i think in order to be able to have energy the next day to properly work out you should probably try and increase your caloric intake to about 2400-2600. it's kinda paradoxical but its somewhat similar to running in the morning after eating some fruit vs eating on an empty stomach. yea your consuming more calories but you will be able to run at a higher intensity and will hopefully result in a net loss of calories vs running empty on fuel and burning fewer calories because of your body's natural defense mechanisms.
good luck though! it seems you have done lots of preparation and have a plan in mind. stick to it. i hope you achieve your goals! |

Wanted to add some home made fruit shakes in there but i'm trying to stay away from sugar. I was 190 back in August but i went on a bulk and put on a good 30 pounds. Now i'm trying to cut. |

Been studying training, working out last week as well, but have opposite goal, want to gain weight xD.
The most legit sources all seem to claim weight lifting in addition to kardio is the key for a lean cool body, lots of people just try to do the kardio bit, also people who start eating few meals a day get in a lot of trouble.
Started on something as well, and it's semi mind boggling, each training should have high points, where you go above and beyond, 4-5 each work out. And the kardio part, people tend to do it too long, and if they look like a big pear, they will just end up looking like a smaller pear, the intensity and lifting in addtion seem to be key once more.
Looks like good goals, gl hf |
