So turns out I was still feeling super shitty, and I've still been making tilty and bad plays. Hopefully I'll be able to sort it out soon..
In other news, I just finished watched The Majestic with Jim Carrey (my favorite actor by far..). I had never seen this movie before and wow.. it was freaking amazing.. I loved it soooooooo much I just had to make a blog entry about it.
I'm going to see what else of Carrey's I've missed out on
Like seriously I feel really good after watching this movie.. it was just a damn good flick.
Ok that's all.

Yea, definitely cut down on the spewing.
I'm a big Jim Carrey fan too. The Majestic was very good, though my favorite Carrey movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I hate to admit it, but I fell in love with the movie, so sick. |

I will put august rush on my list of stuf to watch
I remember eternal sunshine being excellent, but at the time I was oddly ashamed to admit liking it, so I think I held myself back from fully experiencing it. I'm going to get a hold of it and watch it again. The Truman Show is also on my re-watch asaply list. |

The Truman Show is outstanding, I'm probably gonna watch it again soon myself. Jim Carrey is such an underrated actor, imo. Personally, the beach house scene in Eternal Sunshine towards the end where the beach house starts to break apart has to be one of the most poetic, heartbreaking, yet beautiful and powerful scenes in cinema history. Carrey should of won an oscar based on his performance in this scene alone. Just an extraordinary scene and movie. |

Yep. A lot of people don't know this about Carrey, but he had a bit of a difficult upbrining. Quote from imdb: Carrey's early adolescence took a turn for the tragic, however, when the family was forced to relocate from their cozy town of Newmarket to Scarborough (a Toronto suburb). They all took security and janitorial jobs in the Titan Wheels factory, Jim working 8-hour shifts after school let out (not surprisingly, his grades and morale both suffered). When they finally deserted the factory, the family lived out of a Volkswagen camper van until they could return to Toronto.
It was a miserable and depressing time for him and his family. But he never gave up, never quit. Inspiring indeed. |
