Why does it seem like there is such a strong stigma against people that buy in for less than 100 BBs yet the people that play nosebleeds on FTP almost never buy in for max? I've seen even Phil Ivey sit down with 30 BBs. I think it was Ferguson that used SSS to turn $0 into $100,000 or whatever it was. How come the pros get away from this stigma but everyone is a fish/donkey?

You sit down with the max because you assume youre better than most of hte people on yoru table and it'd be a huge mistake to only have 50bbs and double up off a fish when you coudl have had more.

When the high stakes players play nosebloods they are playign against the best players in teh world and don't have that big of an edge. So you can devise strategies to proetct your money and frustrate others by playing with funky stacks.

Also, many nosebleeders sell off their action and its easier to keep track when they dont rebuy.

Genginho: lose today 100 dollar only because of fishs they called and had luck on river

usually nosebleeds player sit with the amount to cover the fish at the table, that's about it, if fish has 100bb, u shud have 100bb, if you're better than everyone at the table, you should cover everyone to maximise your EV

Have you ever run into someone at NL10 sitting with $3.55 and found them to be any good?
