live poker is officially boring for me 99 percent of the time. No one is really social and all think they r amazing so it sucks the life out of it. Online session today was some uber tilt life sucks crap. Getting tired of having so many 1 to 2k hand sessions where i lose tons. Probably wasnt playing the best poker ever. But at the end was up 120ish in nonshowdown pots and 800 below ev so on the surface seems like i played fine and got sucked out. Also had KK vs AA all in pre and 35 vs 54 in a 3bet pot on a 345 flop. So whatever gonna be on tilt for a while maybe will play a session tonight. I think I was about 3300 when I came vegas so still up like 1k on the month. Been breakeven now since Septemberish so fml in that regard. Pretty sure Im playing good poker recently even if my results arnt showing it.

ye atleast u know u are playing it better than before and with these coach sessions results should be coming eventually.

live is so easy if you don't let yourself be bored. Drink alcohol and talk to people, and if your table is full of quiet nits then move! |

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO don't drink, drinking can be very very bad when playing cards lol Brett I can't believe you of all people are advocating playing intoxicated. Just go with an Ipod, if you don't wanna listen to music get some books on tape, there are so many really bad players live that it's pretty damn easy to profit if your just patient and don't get bored. |

I can't help avoid the bordem, sitting in a chair for that long w/ only being able to look at cards just kills me. |

live poker definitely takes some getting used to
also I talk to people very frequently which helps a lot |
