Wanted to ask a question about what you'd do in this situation.
Suppose you are going to move up to the next stake once you have 20bi's for it. Would you allow yourself to use rakeback/bonuses for it?
Just something I've been pondering...

Poll: Use rakeback and bonuses?
(Vote): yes
(Vote): no
Thanks~

I would and I just did.
But if you do the shot this thin I would not do it until you reached those 20BI without RB/bonuses |

If you are beating the limit you are currently at and you have 20BI for the next one and want to take a shot there is no reason to grind the lower limit. People who pretend RB/bonuses aren't part of their bankroll are being very conservative and there is no reason not to consider them as capital for poker. If you predetermined that you want to convince yourself you can beat the limit by winning 20BI for the next level before moving up that's fine and dandy and everyone can move at their own pace, but inherently i don't see why not. Winning 10-15BI can give you the same confidence then the RB/Bonus will help you move up more quickly to gain more confidence. |

I think that you should consider what you're about to do as taking a shot, and not moving up. If you do call it "moving up" with 20BI you will have to go down if you loose more than ~5BIs, which psycologically will feel more like a faliure than if you dont suceed when taking a shot. I also think that you need a stoploss for how long you'll be able to stay on your new limit.
Other than that, I use RB/bonuses myself when I move up and I dont feel bad about it. I move up for the experience and because its fun, but if you feel like you have to crush a limit before you move to the next (I've never "crushed" a limit, ever) then including RB is probably a bad idea.
gl hf with your _shot_!! :D

They are part of your bankroll. Simple as that. |
