Feeling completely lost and confused about my entire game right now. Bluffing light, calling down too light, monkey calling when I'm clearly no good, betting sizes, etcetc.

Not even sure where to begin in trying to straighten myself out.

Let me know if you see anything in the graphs/stats below
The two downswings today aren't just variance or suckouts, they're bonafide shitty play by me.

Today

Month - NL100

edit: I play 6max.

16/14 is way too nitty if you play 6-max. Wide your ranges preflop I think.

How you want it, bars or bullets?

he plays 6max - uptown, from what i've seen you move up pretty quick playing a pretty "nitty" tag game, at 100nl you should be able to open up to 21/18 or similar and still be playing tighter than a LOT of the regs

you can open up a lot more from the cutoff, my CO and button vpips are much closer than yours (31 BTN and 28CO)

obviously this doesn't help with shitty calldowns and stuff, dunno man, stop doing that I guess :D

Going to go down to about 8 tables tomorrow, open up to 21/18'ish, adding hands to MP and CO.

Going to try to pitch more hands on the flop and cut down on how much $ I tend to just throw away by cbetting / barreling / bluff raising far too much in what are (apparently, without me particularly realizing this) inappropriate spots.

While openign up a lot more PF, conversely I'm going to be looking to tighten up postflop. My AF has always been around 6, and today it was 8. Going to aim for an AF of about 3, which should hopefully mean that I'm cbetting / vbetting in much more appropriate situations.

T_T God I was playing so bad today.

edit: I think one reason WHY I'm so bad / overaggro postflop is because I am so tight PF.

You'll do fine. I still remember when you were still posting on your progress on NL5 couple of months ago and now look at where you are
Hopefully that'll be of some motivation for you~

its good to be overaggro post when you are so tight preflop.
button i think you are loose enough, but seems like you are giving away your blinds way too much?
i'm running 60% fold BB to steal and 80% fold SB to steal.

please don't get caught up in stats, yes you should probably open more often from late position but don't be like "Ohhh I'm gonna play 21/18" and start opening hands you shouldn't, or dont even want to play just to meet a quota. Just pay attention to your opponents and based on their play adjust and do whats best.....yes easier said then done but that should be your overall goal or else you just become some mindless player clicking buttons, only playing your cards and looking at your HUD for opponents stats.

HUDs are nice and give you some information; that said I think a players primary means of information should come from close observation on how your opponents play, not from Holdem Manager.........IMO HEM or PT should be a SECONDARY means of information at your disposal. Its just another piece of information for you to have on your opponents. I really believe a TON of people on this site overrate the stats HEM gives and become multi-tabling robots and never get any better at the game. Stats are just a small piece of information you should have on an opponent.

I would 4-6 table and ACTUALLY pay attention to how people play and try to adjust accordingly. Imo you shouldn't be mass multitabling on a stake you don't crush, or at least KNOW you have a really solid winrate. You'll also never get better by playing so many tables.

/end rant

i've also noticed this too, i think playing 14/8 is way too predictable by smart t hinking regs, which you encounter more frequently at NL100.

I think it's easy to sum-up : VARIANCE.
Frankly, i see nothing special in your stats, apart from the fact you should play (little) more hands.
If you want to share ideas with a NL200/400 reg, i'm open

Because you moved up so quickly it's very possible you still have a lot to learn.

agreed with DonkeyLuvin, i dont use the HUD at all and my reads are usually super strong, i also only play 4-6 tables.

Pay no attention to your stats, just tighten/loosen up depending on the table dynamic.

considering your stats, you probably don't steal enough from CO and BTN, btw
