Only use TT as a set mine is my new rule. I wish I had a poker tracking program going on this computer, because I'd show how I'm break even at NL50 because I pick up TT 10 times a session and lose a stack every time I get action on it, mostly pf.
Its great!
Seriously though, this is really making me sick. Maybe I just don't understand how to play poker at all preflop, or maybe I just run like dog shit with TT lately, but its driving me crazy

How I play TT is very player dependent. Vs. Random player I'll rarely 3bet it and i wouldn't call it set mining but I almost always just flat it preflop.
Post flop if I'm HU i often c/r or raise if the flop brings only one over card. If the flop only brings unders I'll rarely play for stacks, but I still try to get some money into the pot. The easiest way to play TT profitably is just to setmine and only continue postflop if no over cards flop. |

its a good 3bet hand imo, you bluff out the good players who are smart enough to fold the vast majority of their range (a fair bit which flips with you) and you value raise in the donks who get trapped by your overpairs.
i mean, you want to establish a slightly wider 3bet range anyway i think, so this is an appropriate hand to use for that reason. taking down like 5-10 big blinds from steals with it is great.
as like my 10th edit, dont forget we all have stretches where even kk or rarely aa will be losers over a period of like 50, 100.. 200? maybe more hands. it'll turn around. |

at NL50 u don't need to have a wide 3bet range, if u want to u can 3bet with AA only and still get called almost as much. |
