I haven't had a poker-related blog post in a while so I thought I'd better do a quick one.
- I've finished at 25NL, after beating it for 6.3bb/100 over 40k hands I'm finally done! Much thanks to Lachlan, kimseongchan, Semper and some other RL friends and LP'rs who have gotten me through it It's definetely been a huge learning curve for me.
- Started 50NL, ran good for the first couple of sessions, very comfortable playing with $50 stacks, I didn't take my first shot until I had a 1.6k (32 buyins) roll so I think that has helped with removing some of the emotion involved with moving up.
I know my blind play is HORRIBLE, I really need work on that. I'm too weaktight in the BB and I find myself 3betting ONLY sc's, big PP's (99+) and AK, maybe QKs. Very, very weak. If anyone who has already beaten 50NL or is currently beating it nicely would offer to sweat me for a session or maybe do some short-term (1-3 months) coaching I'd be willing to pay, kimseongchan has kind of gone MIA
In other news I brought a second 22" monitor, pretty sweet grinding setup for a 50NL player imo New setup; + Show Spoiler +
In other news I turned 18 (awesome), got given a car by grandparents (awesome), went and saw Chris Rock live with mates (awesome), found out my car needs $2.5k of work before it's roadworthy (not awesome), go for my licence tomorrow (awesome).
Overally I've had an awesome few months, I'm stoked Also I'm hooked on two TV shows at the moment; How I Met Your Mother & The Black Donnelys

and yea I think finding someone else for set-up coaching a good idea, I have a different sleep schedule atm and I'm not on msn as much as I used to
