Welllll, I love this genre so I hope you get lots of replies =P I also really enjoy the bad movies too tho so I'll try to filter my suggestions a bit I guess!

Since you're about to watch Sunshine, I'll recommend a couple of movies that are EXTREMELY similiar;
Event Horizon (you've probably seen it tho)
Supernova (from 2000 iirc) - Not bad from what I remember, a little less high profile than the other two tho I think.

Hrm, also I think I remember seeing (or just reading a summary of the plot) Solar Crisis and it being very similiar to sunshine (but judging by its IMDB score of 3.2 even I am reluctant to recommend it to you...)

Screamers (I think this was the name, based on a Philip K.Dick novel) I enjoyed, not high budget or anything but enjoyable.

Ghosts of Mars - Statham = also there are ancient aliens on mars and shit. And by aliens I mean roided up goths. But still, good shit.

Jason X - Mentioning this is kinda fringe, but it is set in space and it does feature the typical claustrophobic enviornments where marines can crawl around and get themselves killed.
Cheesy and fun!

Doom - I know it didn't get the best ever reviews but I seriously enjoyed it

You've probably already seen Predator 1 and 2, as well as AvP 1 (I liked AvP, AvP 2 was...... wow so bad).

The Thing - Old school classic, not my favorite tho. Probably because I don't really like the style in which it was done (the pace, among other things, is awkward imo).

As you can probably tell by now, if a movie features a small group of people trapped somewhere in a survival/horror setting, I will like it.

Oh snap, can't believe I forgot Pitch Black (and to a lesser extent the sequel, Chronicles of Riddick). The first one fits your bill 100%, the second is a lot cheesier but I still watch (surprise)!
I echo Golden Ghost, good dl for the survival horror junkie (+ it has 'futuristic space shit').

The Fountain is great but a totally different genre from everything else that's been mentioned so far.. Well I guess Sunshine isn't completely different if you remove the later parts of the film, but yeah. Good movie.

Ah, must not forget about The Sphere. It has Samuel L. Jackson in it, so you know it's good already.

In the same vein minus the alien stuff, I wanna recommend Deep Blue Sea, also starring Mr Jackson.

Btw, Event Horizon is probably the closest match to what you're looking for (although it's also the most similiar to Sunshine aside from Supernova).
Thinking more about it, Supernova is definitely the most 'run of the mill' of the 3, very standard sci-fi
