so i sit down with this guy at a full table and stayed there for a few hours while it quieted down, played some heads up, and every time another person would come we would just bust them and go back to heads up. he was pretty loose. so i figured something like this might happen.

the 2 main hands that led to this were:

although i did hold monster hands both times, you can see it was more the fact that the other player was willing to call for no apparent reason, than the fact that i had big hands.

so i have no explanation for this strange occurence, other than i got lucky. back to grinding.

hmm, my poker history.

well umm..

to start at the beginning, i'm a pc / video game pro mostly, as a lot of guys around here have, i have played thousand upon thousands of hours of games like starcraft / brood war, diablo II, world of warcraft, and i'm also a 2d-fighting game expert

i also have 92.5% of a degree in pure mathematics from a canadian university which i dont think i will finish anytime soon, i cant hack school anymore.

with that sort of background i found it easy to move over to online poker, also i had a few friends who played so i talked with them and stuff, and just started doing sngs and stuff for fun.

i was lucky enough to be introduced to this website by reload and i feel right at home with people from liquid and ToT and stuff that i use to see around on wgtour and what not

currently i dont work full time so im trying to play at least 8 hours of poker a day monday to friday, and my real job is during weekends saturday and sunday.

my goal currently is just trying to figure out if i am actually capable of banking even in nl5 type cash games. i really feel there has been a lot of downswing in my game up till now, and i want to get a fair test sample of like 100,000 hands to really see where i'm at.
