Guys, I'm obviously not going to quit. You can't quit this game once that you have entered it. It's a drug. I just feel good whenever I vent with whiny post. Somehow I feel like my mind clears a lil bit
I appreciate absolutely ALL of your comments and advices and I will keep them in mind. Thanks.

You are right, I have huge leaks and don't have good tilt control. On the other hand, I told you in the same blog post, and I think that even Fayth agreed on it that whenever I vent, I play better.
Daemonicus. I started playing at NL200, then dropped to NL100.
Jyang, Loco, Fraser, Daemon. I appreciate your comments as well as everybody's.
Still gonna take a break as soon as I clear the 1K FPPs I got left for platnium star. Then I'll just wait for March. Prob will be a good month since the 22nd is my 20th birthday.

I read your lower post and have to say I felt the exact same way the last 3 weeks. I've been in a horrible downswing but I think things are turning around. I've been watching videos and studying like crazy and I think I'm finally starting to improve my game enough to compensate. I think at first it was a downswing and then I just slowly started playing worse and worse poker and didn't realize it. I've gotten my balls back and it's helping. I moved to NL50 for a bit and that has been a huge help, plus I cashed out some money so I didn't feel like I was losing everything.

and i told u in the past to stop whining because i were a whiny bitch in the past too, and the thing is, you create a negative circle, even if u vent out and play better if you whine it means ur not in the right mindset in poker and despise ur quick launch you are a novice poker player, not skill wise but experience wise.
Many of us have been playing for much longer and logic dictates that the majority of us have experienced much tougher times u have, ive had 100k break even runs, ive lost 3/4 of my BR (and my br was quite decent) etc, and many players have felt that too.
You MUST correct your mind set and forget about venting, understand poker, not the strategy but the game itself change ur mindset otherwise i guarantee you 100% that you are going directly speeding to a brick wall and ur poker career will be very difficult if you dont start changing now. |
