I'm so tired of this BS. I just can't fucking win. When January ended, I said that I was going to start playing more loose, and that's what I did. Started running at 24/21 and boom boom boom -4buyins at NL200 6max. Then, I gave up that and switched back to a TAG style. boom again, fucking -11BIs.

My hand sample is ridiculously small because I don't think I have ever made a 1000hand session this month. Basically because I raise JThearts in the button and BB calls. Flop comes Q92 with 2 hearts. Somehow we get it allin on flop. Turn brings a T or J. river is a blank and AA (no heart) wins. Then the same shit happends 5hands later and I'm down $400 in 30hands...

I can't even beat NL100 and NL50 now. I just don't flop anything and I don't remember how many fucking times I get AK vs QQ/99 preflop and flop or turn has an A and they hit trips on the river... I even bust out that way from the $2M turbo takedown last weekend...

I don't know what I can do to win again. I watch CR videos, pokertube, WSOP, etc. I get motivated to play and in less than 50hands I hit the floor with -2BIs...

so cya and gl, i hope u guys never feel this way

ur stats definitelly show many many flaws in your game.

Do you remember that since the first day you played poker i told you to stop whining? it was because i could foresee your future tilt issues that you have now, maybe u should get away from cash games or maybe u should decide if poker is what you want to do with your life, its a tough game.

everybody gets frustrated. cut down to 4 tables and re-evaluate why you might be losing.

Your stats paint you as weak tight, your won$ WSF is very low. you should try and get it up to mid 40s, anything below 40 is unacceptably low imo, and indicates that you're folding too much postflop, espcially considering that you're playing such a tight range preflop.

If you want to open up your game more, look at your attempts to steal number. Not only is it very low, but u steal less at the higher stakes. You need to be more agressive in position.

If you're going to play such a tight range of cards, all the regs with PAHud are going to notice that. You can use that to get alot of credit when you do play a hand. I'd guess you're not 3betting nearly enough. Use your tight image to pull off some bluffs on people that are smart enough to fold, both preflop and postflop.

thats one of the most painful read ive had in a while, and by that i mean i wasnt feeling your pain at all, it was just painful to see you whine this much
seriously. i know its your blog and you do whatever you want, but i mean people read blogs too, and you should take that into consideration, if you want to vent about random shit that doesnt make sense i wouldn't do it for everyone to see.

you have leaks. you don't run worse than anyone, and you haven't played enough.

you've made a lot of money in tournaments and have had one of the best starting poker career out of everyone on this site, you have no reasons to whine, none.

get off life tilt - be grateful for what you have and work on your game. if cash games tilt you too much, give them up for now, or I would recommend you to play at lower stakes and fix your game there for a good sample.

I know how this feels, and any grinder who has played a good hand sample of cash games knows that feeling. It's not easy, sometimes it might seems like poker is easy money and when everything is going well you take it for granted, so when the shit happens (and it will, always) it hits you even harder.

fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccountLast edit: 20/02/2008 12:54

Take a break, sounds like you could use it. Just relax.

why are u playing 1/2 cash? like, werent u at 10nl or 25nl then hit up a bunch of tournies? u should have stayed at lower stakes (if im right)

vpip/pfr is fine, i play tighter than that in 6max. preflop dont really matter. altho ATT to steal is very low and can easily be bumped up at least 10% w/o affecting ur game that much.

for postflop i think ur WWSF is bad u def need to take down more pots with ur vpip/pfr

WTSD at 30% is bad. either ur being a bad callin station or too passive postflop and go to showdown too often. u should be winning tons of pots w/o showdown

W%SD is very bad, based on vpip/pfr its gotta be in the 50%+ range

DaEm0niCuS   United States. Feb 20 2008 13:13. Posts 3292

your went to showdown seems too high imo and your won $ at SD is too low. Also your AF is pretty high..... which isn't a bad thing unless your losing...

I'd try checking/calling more in general, aka use pot control with weaker hands etc.

vpip/pfr are completely relative to how good you are, if your not winning don't attempt to play loose.

That said a 20k hand sample means nothing and you need to learn to stay where you can win and move down.... -6 buys at nl100 so you move up? then you lose 3,900 at nl200... That shouldn't happen.

DaEm0niCuS   United States. Feb 20 2008 13:16. Posts 3292

You feel this way because your not going about poker correctly, the first step to being a winner is knowing where you can win. If you attempt to play out of your skill set, your obviously just setting yourself up for a downfall. Which makes you a gambler, and gamblers always end up losing.
