I guess i'll attempt to keep to some sort of routine for my blog posts, so will generally start with hands i win, then hands i lose and then a nice swingy graph. If people ask me questions i will attempt to answer then in separate blogposts if i feel i have lots to say about whatever, otherwise i'll just randomly respond somewhere.

Also, when i play omaha i try to only play 6 tables, but often i waitlist every table, and by the time i'm sitting on 6 a few good ones will popup with spewy losers, so i'll end up playing more than i should really. I also try to only play small sessions because it can get draining looking at so many cards/flops and working out what the hell i have.

So anyway, onto todays hands.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334402 - Standard call preflop basically to setmine. Big pairs are ok in certain spots, but in general they are good for making sets. Flop depends often on who the PFR is, and the texture as to whether you donkbet or checkraise. In this hand the PFR was pretty bad and kinda short, so i expected him to bet most of the time. Luckily attackkina was on tilt it appears and decided to give me money.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334403 - a nice hand preflop, i pretty much never check here since people will often put you on aces if you raise preflop OOP, and also i want to build a pot. I have no problem just check folding if i get many callers and the flop is like KQ7dd, i'd fire most dry Ahi boards though. I don't really expect the limper to ever limp fold here preflop being 150bb deep, and sb prob will come along with most holdings. Obviously a solid flop here, with no flushdraws possible i want to try to build a pot and as you can see against something like a gutshot and top set im only 43% so it will be hard to get my money in horrible here

pokenum -o kd kh 5d 2d - 5s 6c 7c 8s -- kc 6d 4s
Omaha Hi: 820 enumerated boards containing 4s Kc 6d
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
Kd 5d 2d Kh 464 56.59 356 43.41 0 0.00 0.566
8s 5s 7c 6c 356 43.41 464 56.59 0 0.00 0.434

Lucky for me i make the nuts on the turn, and i don't think my opponent is going to check a FH on the river that often, the only hand im worried about now really is K6 and i think he'd probably lead that. Luckily no one thinks i ever have anything, and he pays me off.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334410 - marginal call preflop, but PFR is bad. Hes bad enough to probably stack off with aces on the flop, so i raise for value, also no flushdraws is good for my hand (but narrows my range). Turn i figured reksio folds lots of his range if i bet again and doesn't draw, but will probably pay me off if he hits on the river. I luckbox and he does make his hand.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334411 - This one is a fairly standard open even UTG, when hotblonde repops she has AAxx almost always, so i'm basically calling to flop something to crack aces. I flop a pretty bad flop with only the one pair but have to call getting insane odds, and with the board being fairly dry i expect ide1 to fold here lots (you could argue for isolating hotblonde here). The turn i pickup a ton of outs, and have decent equity vs AAxx which im still assuming blonde has, so want to make ide1 fold (and if i check he might push a hand that beats me like a weak 2p or JJ which he will often fold to my turn push). I don't like how he played the hand, and pokergods reward me with a river.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334416 - something i have been trying lately is playing the really bad aces slower preflop. If i raise at any point preflop after limping i make my hand fairly obvious, and stigberg is deep. Obviously postflop is really standard.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334417 - standard raise pre, flop the nuts and just keep betting. No reason to slowplay 99% of the time in omaha.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334419 - if you can get allin preflop with aces, do so! Opponent seemed spewy and on tilt.

Getting bored of posting info about every hand, so heres a few other biggish pots i won.

Now for the losing hands

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334425 - again here i coldcall preflop with horrible aces because we are deep, but when the SB raises hes pretty insane, and i figure i can get enough of my stack in here preflop profitably. Maybe preflop should just be a call, im not too sure. I run bad vs his aces though.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334426 - this one i have no idea if i played it badly, but milkman was borderline retarded, so i figured i had decent enough equity to get it in here, even if coai has a bigger set lots (not many people slowplay so AAA was my main worry). Guess i got trapped.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334427 - was pretty sure he had aces, so decided to try to make him fold. Got commited on the turn, oh well this spot is so +EV for me if hes never folding here since most of the time he will be behind by a fair bit.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334428 - this guy is a losing reg, didn't expect him to checkraise the river, and don't really like it. Prob always beat here but $65 for the chance hes doing sth retarded and info is worth it i think.

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334429 - this one i was on sick tilt and decided to give away some money

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334431 - standard mixing it up with donkbetting sets and checkraising, he had a pretty big hand too

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/334434 - i almost always fold here preflop, but stigsberg was on sick tilt and wanted to get allin preflop every hand, so i couldnt really!

A few more random losing hands.

And now for the graph!

So, no idea if im going to write this much everyday or just post random big win/loss hands and graphs - we shall see how bored i get.
