Result of my first week of poker:

If you see from these mysterious numbers that something is wrong in my play, a weakness, let me know.
Pretty happy of this first week even if i made big mistakes.
Do you think i can go up to 0.25/0.5 or stay where i am?
I feel so small compare to you -_-
bye

you need to limp far less, and raise far more. |

Yep, you raise extremly rarely, you need to change it. And do you know what Bankroll Management means? If not, let me explain. In order to not go busto you should have at least 20BI for higher stakes before moving up. If you want to play on NL50 you should grind your BR up to at least $1000. If you will start to play on NL50 having, let's say... $300, then it is very possible you will eventually lose everything you have. It will just be a matter of time. I know that playing till $1000 on NL20 may sound to you a bit riddiculous, but believe me - everyone had the same feeling at the beggining of his career/"career" ( ). |

ok thank you for the advices.
I fear to raise because i play on tables wih 10 people on it so i think if i raise and the flop is bad for me i've lost the raise money.
I know it's no really what i should do i'll try to change it & maybe play tables with only 6 people. |

raising is important in so many ways.
* defines your hand (but u raise the 67s occasionally too just to allay that
* defines the hand(s) that call you
* HU you can take down the pot on the flop with continuation bet in position even if you miss (ppl only hit the flop less than 1/3 of the time maybe less?)
* thins the field of players (try and get to HU if you can) don't wanna see a flop for example with AA and 5 other players. random rags like 93 in the BB can flop a hidden monster against your AA if you don't eliminate 93 pre by raising
* there are more i'm sure but these are the main ones
I've never personally seen someone so passive preflop! Oh and you are way passive post flop too - currently you are a tight passive (calling station). This is not a good style.
In the short term you have certainly had a very impressive run. I hope you learn lots from this site and continue to improve and have fun playing poker. GL |
