This morning I woke up and decided to take a small shot on NL50. (Had 18 buy-ins when I woke up for NL50) All went pretty well, started off having a sick cooler hit me, but after that I got into a little groove and finished the session up nearly three buy-ins.

This session was a great confidence booster for myself, showing me that I'm playing my best and making good decisions. I'm going to be playing back down on NL25 for the most part since my roll isn't stable for the long run at NL50 just yet, but plan to be moving up soon.

Heres my stats from this mornings session;

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 704 hands and saw flop:
- 35 out of 89 times while in big blind (39%)
- 20 out of 84 times while in small blind (23%)
- 47 out of 531 times in other positions (8%)
- a total of 102 out of 704 (14%)
Pots won at showdown - 18 of 23 (78%)
Pots won without showdown - 71

And heres some hands from todays session;

vs Raziel2018 - This was my first pot of the day, was 50/50 cooler/mistake. Raziel opens in EMP & I call otb with JQs. Flop TPgK and call his flop bet looking to improve incase he has an overpair (which I thought was very doubtful). Turn gives me two pair, he check minraises me and I stack off donkishly. LP helped me realize how much his line screams set and I shouldn't have played it so fast. In the future, I'll just be flatting this minraise and re-evaluating the river.

Multiway pot - This was the best birthday present a guy could ask for. MP opens 3x bb, get a few callers, obv I call w/ AJs in late position. Flop the nuts, start to wonder if I'm going to get paid off, then everyone throws there stack in the middle.

vs edseleanna - Open 9Ts utg, (a play I make about 1/6-1/12 times UTG, depending on how active the table is). I get no respect and 3 callers, whats new lol. I flop bottom pair w/ an open ender and check into the scary board holding 3 diamonds. I turn my gin card and a shorty donks off for his stack which is just above a psb. I call this bet and my set holds vs his top two.

vs tatt2tony - I open QQ in EP and get a caller out of the blinds. He plays back at me, but just a minraise & I doubt he would play a seven or threes full like this so I just call. On the turn he makes another fairly small bet, and here I assume he either has a hand like 78 or a smaller PP and doesn't believe I have the overpair. I call again, assuming I get no value from any hands I beat here by putting in a raise. On the river an Ace comes, probably a card he thinks I have in my hand, so I value bet about 20% of the pot, the only bet I assume he will call with a small pair when the ace falls and he oblidges to the bet.

vs MILANAO - standard MP opens the pot for 1.50 and gets repopped in LP by this shorty. I flat IP with AK expecting to stack off w/ any TPTK here. I flop top pair and when he donks out I figure hes on QQ or AK, maybe AA/KK but I'm not folding to him since hes shortstack and I assume hes a bad pla<x>yer because hes a shortstack. So I flat and on the turn he shoves the rest in. I insta-call and river an ace to beat his jack-hi with top two.

birthday song goes off in head*

This was a nice session and a confidence builder like I said, and although I'm rolled enough for NL50 (21 BI), I'm going to stay on NL25 for atleast another week or so.

I'm happy to have done well in this session, and am feeling much more confident for next week when I start NL50, knowing that its dynamic fits my game better than all the other limits.

GL everyone,
Ryan (DReaMe)

11,611 FPP til SuperNoVa!

PS - I'm going to start saving my FPP's for the $650 bonuses now instead of entering the FPP satelites. After getting 2nd in a vast number of 1st place only $216 ticket tournaments, I'd rather just take the sure money.

wtf don't use the $650 bonuses if you're 12k VPPs from supernova, wait for the $1500 ones?
