I'm cross posting this on the forums as well as my blog since its a hand that really had me going a few different ways. I don't know how thin my play is and its sort of bugging me.

We've been playing 3 handed for a while and just went four handed.

Info on Villian:
He is currently running at 31/24/2.7/WtSD 24%
He folds to CBets 30% of the time, he raises them 25% of the time.
When seeing the turn, he bets it 48% of the time and has a turn aggression of 2.8.

My current image here is 23/15/7.0/WtSD 18% over 50 hands at the table. Villian has been at the table the whole time with me.

What range of hands can I put him on? Aggressive pla<x>yers like this are rarely slow playing over pairs, so I take that out of his range. I think his calling range is fairly obvious from AJ down to J8. I think it fair to put 44 and 55 in his range as well. I won't give him credit for 78 or 23. His numbers tell me he is often double barreling and I know it isn't taking much for him to play position on me and raise the flop.

This one has me stumped. I've spoken with a few people so far about this hand. One line was to dump it to the turn bet. Bob through out there the idea of just jamming the flop since we know his range is so wide. The only problem with that (I felt) was that he is so aggressive and so likely to bet out the turn again if he had something like say J8 J9 he'd bet again when I checked and be willing to go with it once I jammed. Bob made a good point though that pla<x>yers like this are often likely to go with it from the flop anyways so you could make an arguement that there is little point to give them a free card.

I think that the fact we were 3 handed until one hand prior to this comes in consideration, as well as that we're only 4 handed now.

Save any responses in the lines of "I don't raie AJ from the blinds". I'm not asking for critique on my preflop play, I'm looking for insight post flop.

Will post results later.

jam the turn, vs an unpredictable player and shorthanded i think thats what i do. however really depends on how you play shorthanded im prone to floating flops-> bluffing turn 3betting light and reraising light and seeing as he has been sitting at the table a long time with you if it would not make sense for you to be bluffing here then i suppose you can fold
