So anyway as the title suggests, i started setting up my fish tank a few days ago. This new and sudden urge was brought on by Karma/luke telling me his plans to start a fish tank and showing me AWESOME looking fish.
Anyway i had a fish tank from ages ago so i brought it out and chucked it on the desk in the corner of my room. Next day luke came over and we went and brought some stuff, new corner filter, a heater (i'm planning to do tropical fish). This was the end product at the time:

So the next morning we set out to buy some fish and came back home with 2 pepper cory catfish, 10 neon tetra's and 1 angelfish. This was probably a bit impulsive as it'd only been about 12 hours since we'd put in this liquid substance that helps clear the minerals and chemicals that the fish cant handle and the water hadnt' fully cleared. BUT i was sure that any fish of mine would be TUFF FISH and could handle it.
Also brought some plants, flake food and blackworms which they apparently like.

This was what the tank looked like after i'd put everything in, you cant really see anything in the photo except the neon tetra's in the front and the angel fish in the bottom back right corner hiding like a pussy. The cory's were by far the most active initially with the damn angel fish pretty much not moving for an hour or more reminds me of pokerdoc,nit.

Anyway there you can see the angelfish, i like it and hopefully wont grow to fast since i'd like to keep it for a while.

Anyway this all happened over the past 2-3 days. So i'll take some more photos and update you guys on whats happened since then

and make it a seperate post to make it easier to browse/read.

yeah the neons are definitely a very good choice for my smallish tank, and i love watching them gather and then scatter from each other heh. i'll be sure to get some closer pics of all my fish posted up, do it during the day since i dont really wnna flash them and cause them a nervous breakdown

edit: also one of my platy is pregnant i "THINK" i'll check on it and update tomorrow with photos

angefish is a Cichlid? unless i'm wrong, in which case i'm wrong but yeah i do only have one mostly because its either have one or get five apparently, since smaller groups bullying often occurs. This is just me citing what i've been reading up on so if i'm wrong or misinformed please let me know. Also if you do have any ideas for smallish colourful cichilids suited to a tank that in max groups of 3-4 that aren't territorial or aggressive let me know.

Man, when ever you go on a bad run or play like dog shit, just look towards the angel fish and yee shall draw inspiration, confidence, and skillz from yours truly. Amen.
