I've never heard of anyone in Canada who plays having an issue with the revenue agency

Ya ive walked into the bank with a lot more then that and a smile on my face and had no problem. I think it is only ever a small problem if your making over 100k a year and even then theirs ways around it like 1 shift a week at tim hortons for your dad smoking weed in the back

every one is different. Need to talk to tax lawyer and figure out how your money was generated. I am not going to talk anymore on this subject since I am not qualified.

6k is not enough for any countries revenue service to shit bricks over ;o

add like 5 zeros to the end and then you might start getting some notice

over the fact theyve been living off poker, yes.

the revenu bureau doesnt care if its drug money, whores money or gambling money, if its your only income, and you live on it, you must pay taxes on it.

but the law says gambling is gambling and isnt something you pay taxes on,

thats where its tricky, they are both right in their demands.

but i think in the end, law > all, so they should be fine.. well see. (they will mostlikely modify law after stuff like this)
