I agree with BiNK.

I don't do that type of exercise atm, but the way you did it looks painful when compared to how I've seen it been done in the past.

The gym I went to years ago had some bar I think, which would keep the bar you're lifting at a straight angle, I guess it was for protection in case someone lost their balance.

it looks painful because he's near his limit. there's no such thing as perfect form when you are lifting close to your limits.

if you are talking about a smith squat cage, puertorican, that can actually damage your back

i know he's near his limit i'm just reminding to always focus on good form while lifting any weight for any set. I'm not sitting here claiming to be an expert, I have just done a lot of lifting in my life as I played football all through college. Form is just something always to harp on.

I think the form is pretty good for a 1 rep. max. Very impressive weight.

ya lol, I goodmorning.squat the weight.
Only cause it was a 1 rep max though, like I don't do that with anything below 190kg.

my last best deadlift was 210 @ 75 in november. Dunno now, did 3 months of smolov (only squatting) and havent tried again. I assume once I get the technique back I'll pull more given there must be some carry over from squats (32.5kg gain) and sumo deadlifts.

good feat of strength, but yeah, really important you improve on form just for the long run. Don't want to be developing any back problems in your 20's. Maybe place the bar higher on your traps too, ionno, your current form might be good for your biomechanics but it looks like the average personal would ruin his shoulder and lower back.
