Went to my hometown for 2 weeks where i didn't really have an active connection, worked during the weeks and played in the casino's on the weekends (cashed out my stars roll when i left, had it 4 days after i got there)

gonna play some mtt's too, was a fun day, happy i didn't have to go to deposit $500 more, was going to, but was going to hurt me a lil cuz xmas
Yeah, my year's over already. exams in a few days+ in january take the time for playing cards away =[
Guess I'll consider my year a so-so year, in which i did not reach supernova(far from it, only 45k vpp --> disappointment) yet played fairly good.
Database starting from halfway march:
Did not play from may till august, so i guess these stats represent roughly half a year of actively playing: http://666kb.com/i/b4k05fjhxa7vss2oc.jpg
Together with coaching+fpps, this makes a year slightly over 10k, which as a student is nice however far from what was reachable in my opinion.
Goals for next year: study related:
-get minimal 42 ECTS out of 60
-up the average of my grades to 7
-actually spend time studying instead of surfing the web till a week before exams. poker related
-make 30k next year not counting bonuses
-move up to 1/2(seriously now, got ~60 bi for it), possibly 2/4 close to the end of the year
-make supernova minimum, possibly 200k or 300kvpp milestone
-learn a little bit of PLO/donkaments
So yeah, that's it for this year. Good luck to everyone that'll still play the last few days this year, and good luck for next year!
Long time since I made my last entry. In the mean time I didn't play much (was kind of bored of everydays boring grind routine) till about few months ago when I firmly decided to get back to NL100 again (after having to drop due to withdrawing too much followed by a cooler as it usually goes). Also during the process I was mixing games, played some PLO and a lot of Limit where I was doing good but in the end had to realize I was a NL player, always have been.
So, where am I now?
NL50 with like 1600-ish BR (not sure exactly how much I have since my BR is scattered around rooms/e-wallets)
Where?
Full Tilt. Now, being a euro player I can choose to play wherever I want and so I did ...
Two months ago I signed up to Eurolinx (Prima) through Deuces Cracked with the idea to complete $500 MGR/mo and get free month. I fell a little short ($496) but DC team was kind enough to make an exception since I was close enough (they are class). I enjoyed learning from their instructors and in short: DC 'effin ROCKS!!!
I'm also a member of Stoxpoker (used Eurolinx points to buy subscription) and they are good as well, lot of quality content and my warm recommendation to anyone.
Then Truly Free Poker Training @FT was introduced. I have never been CardRunners member mainly because of the signup fee which was too big for my BR. And now was finally the chance to get there. At first I didn't really like the idea of leaving fish pond and move to nit fest. But CR promo was just so tempting and luckily it turned out that FT ssnl fish is not much different if not even fishier (passive US fish is easier to play than agggro Eurodonks, imo). There were plenty of tables to choose from and sure enough: I made it and for the first time I can enjoy CR vids (knocking myself out itm).
The reason I'm writing this that lately you can see lots of threads (2+2 etc) where people whine about Cardrunners being bad (??), canceling subscriptions - almost like an organized campaign. BULL SHIT! I've only scratched under the surface and already like it ALOT. It's close between CR and DC tbh, but ... maybe I like CR little more - when it comes to vids, as for community/support DC is one of the best I've ever seen. Aaaaand it seems I'm stuck at FT for a long time
So right now, I am really crushing NL50 and/or running extremely hot. Yes, you are reading my graph correctly; I haven't had a single losing session since I took my first shot. As you can see from the stats of my sessions, I started off playing my standard TAG game and doing well, but lately I've been opening up my range a ton. I'm running so hot that it really feels like I can play almost any two cards profitably.
I'm closing in on the bankroll I decided to take my shot at NL100 with, but would anyone disagree with me taking a shot so early? I mean, I'm very confident in my game right now, but I've only played 14k hands lifetime of NL50.
My style is extremely adapted to the regs at NL50, who I believe I can exploit very well (which is why my range opened up a ton), but I have no idea what kind of regs I'll be playing against at NL100. Although I do adapt, I'm certain my playstyle is very exploitable if a person were to pay close attention. I dunno how capable the regs at NL100 are, but that's just what I've been pondering over lately.
In the last 700 hands, I've lost JJ vs KT (rivered trips), AK vs 58 (rivered 2 pair), AK vs 72 (turned trips), QQ vs J7 (runner runner straight), KK vs 77 (all in PF flopped set), KK vs 99 (3 bet PF flopped set), KK vs AQ (all in PF flopped an ace AND rivered a flush, just to rub it in) BUT at least I have not punched anything or broken my table yet.
Brag::: Was bored so I went shipping online and bought me some cool stuffs. Some items include a 200 dollar electric shaver, the braun 9595 pulsonic shaver; a xbox 360 and a bunch of games; 500 threadcount bed sheet set; and an airsoft gaspowered shotgun.
Happy early Christmas to myself
Beat::: bought call of duty 4 for playstation 3 instead of xbox and its nonrefundable. lolz I can't read. Man I was really looking forwards to playing this game too, it got so much good reviews
Btw: im starting a new phrase. Everytime you buy something for yourself, instead of calling it shopping the baller way of saying it is now shipping.
So I am recovering from my downswing. Dropped down to NL200. There is a good amount more fish than at NL400, and a lot of the regs are much weaker. Plus it helps that, despite occasional gayness, I am not running too bad.
Today was fun. Several separate laggy players kept getting and making hands versus me. You know the guys who 3bet from blinds 20+% of the time and just HAVE to make a play post-flop, no matter what? All day they kept flopping sets and getting AA/KK/AK. I ended up around break-even, but it was amusing (amusing since I wasn't down 5 BIs; if I was down 5 BIs it would have been tragic). I ended up actually laughing out loud and got a weird look from my gf the 4th time it happened and my AQ got take out by AK from a conservative 22/25 (SB 3bet/BB 3bet) player.
Now I got a desire for some reason to install WarCraft 3 and watch some reps. Haven't had that game on my comp in almost 3 years...heh. It's like girls caving chocolate...
Yes yes nobody knows me here but whatever I like to at least keep tabs on myself.
Haven't blogged in a while, half due to shame, and half because my mom doesn't like me on the computer. Ever. And now I see all this WBCOOP on the left margin so I figure I may as well start blogging "actively" again. So it's December and I've been out of the house for a few months and last month I decided to give poker another go after school settled down form midterms (2nd year uni for anyone that cares).
I started in July with $500, foolishly thinking I could beat NL25, and also with 20 buyins instead of the 30 I found out was a better rule of thumb later. Dropped 8 bi in probably 2k hands or so and said fuck it 'til November.
I learned to play better and stack off less and slowly changed my game. I played for about two or three weeks and ground from my $300 to $750 at NL10. No graph, sorry. So I've learned a lot in the past few weeks, and intend to improve my game further.
I'm on a ban from PS until finals are over, so my br is sitting at around $830. My goal is to have $1500 by the 2nd week of Jan, and 6k by May (God willing I have enough hours, and discipline to play a lot).
I have paid my friends back the initial stake, so now they're freerolling. That makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Kind of lame post, but I now have HEM so I'll be posting graphs and what not of sessions. Let's see where this takes me.
Thanks to response, shaneomac, drawingthin, oxygen, and roflcopter for help with general play, and f4zi for entertaining me when I talk to him on msn.
Thanks to all the midstakes and better players that post in lowstakes to help us all out with our play. I've learned a lot from you.
Finally, thanks to all the people on LP. Many of you are inspiring, and the rest of you are good reminders of what not to do
Looking back at my previous posts, I've learned a lot during my stay here. I'll see you all after finals.

That's how life feels right now. I keep doing these 3-4 table risking 1-2 buyin shots @ NL200 and play a few hundred hands of break even poker until I hit a monster and get sucked out on or set up. Standard poker shit but it just sux when it happens during a shot. I go back to NL100 and run really good (no setups, hands hold) and then try NL200 again and nothing but AK with horrible missed boards that I can't cbet and then 44 makes a set and runs into a QQ overset.
Oh well, it has to work out eventually. So till then I will make sure to keep doing steps 1 through 4.
