Haven't really updated in the last few days. Been busy with work and trying to play poker when I can. I logged 15k hands at NL10 and I'm still about break even. I don't know what it is. I want to say it's just a bad run. I used to beat NL10 and NL25 so easy.
I became discouraged with NL so I went back to FL. Been playing .25/.50 on both PS and FTP. I'm running like shit on both sites. Have about 3k hands of .25/.50 on each site. I think I'm going to stick to FTP for now since I get the rakeback just so I can get my roll up.
This is all just really discouraging. I feel like I'm playing good poker. But at the same time, is it really fair to say that if I can't beat micro limits after 15k hands of NL10? I look at other new players graphs and they are just up and up, mine is down, up, down to even, up, down. All over the place. There is no constant. Grrrr. All I can do is keep playing more and learning and reading 2p2. But I am going back to Limit. I really hope this is just variance and that it ends soon.
Why the fuck do you always win when im 80% favourite? And i fucking mean ALWAYS, i NEVER get it in behind and when i do, i never fucking suckout like you fucking donks do.
If this game actually let me win based on the odds and actually stuck to them without variance, i would have had a roll for NL200 months ago.
Wish PokerEV would work with PT3 so i can show you exactly what i mean.

In case my friends or readers are curious, came out with nearly 5 buyins profit tonight, over a shitload of hands. 5.5k hands. Whew. I just reviewed all of my major losing pots and there was 1 spew, 3 semi spew (could almost be coolers but I see where I could have maybe saved some money) and a shit load of coolers / beats. Still ran @ 4 ptbb/100 so that's good I guess.
Decently recovered right now. At about 3.7k. Working hard for every penny right now. Played a lot of tables but that's my regular routine on the weekend cause there's so many fish on NL100 at that time. Was usually between 10-16 but tried my hardest to get rid of bad tables asaply.
I'd love to have a heater soon. God that would be fun.
Now that finals are almost over (just 1 more on monday) i can finally focus on poker.
~1.5 months of poker until next term, so i hope i can improve and move up as much as i can. Currently at 5NL and tonight for the first time multi 20 tables.
So couple of goals for this break:
-get use to 24tables
-move up
-read/study poker
-grind (maybe move to FTP for rake?)
Oh and hi everyone, this is my first blog so lemme say a bit about myself: studying in some crappy school and learned poker through a friend. Seeing his success, i dled PS and got to 5mil playmoney in ~2 years of learning/wasting time/playing around. Then finally sold them and started to play real money. I just got past .01/.02 so thats good. Hopefully i will continue to improve with the help of everyone on the site.

I happen to have the weirdest PT3 bug right now. No outright SQL crashes, nothing like that. In fact the HUD works perfectly (sans the expected random PT3 bugginess that we have all come to love).
But when I click the hold'em tab to try to look at stats and graphs, the program instantly hangs and becomes completely unresponsive. Leave it for 2 hours? Nope, no progress. Gotta end process. I can 'play' as normal since the HUD is functional, but it's definitely an annoyance since I like looking at those pretty graphs
I imagine I'll have to wipe my HD if we can't find a solution relatively soon. Which I guess is alright, my machine was due for a cleanup anyways.
Just played a really long session I think 5 hours or so, was breaking even for most of it but by the end of the 4th hour I was up like 2 BIs not that great but still up, then the following hands took place:

Meh Jacks, I stop playing after that to avoid stress since this two happened almost at the same time and I was playing for a long time already.
Well, I guess the thought that those players are gonna get buttfucked and loose all their money should confort me, amirite ?
So I was shitting on 10nl so ez and moved up at $728, now I'm down to $658 after like 20k hands and not sure if I'm running bad or just retarded so I thought I'd get some feedback. I'll start updating this blog with hands that confuse me to see if its my fault I'm losing. Also anyone who has crushed 25nl if you have any generic tips about this level I'd appreciate it, for instance at 10nl people were looking for excuses to fold so c-bets etc were mandatory but at 25nl every time I c-bet bluff I get snapped so hard and people are in general more stationy.
One thing in particular I have had trouble with is paying off sets which I think maybe I could be not doing, heres an example: + Show Spoiler +

well despite playing 16 tables while my GF yelled at me (guess that line wasn't as good as I thought... shes' still pissed) I won 3 Bi in 1k hands. Then I quit. Now time to go try and fix things.
Spend the entire day trying to fix things and when I think they're fixed they're not. Relationships are fucking hard. Makes poker seem ez.
I'll probably end up playing again later tonight and losing it all. Fucking life.
