So I Started today with 2.6k. I figured "Xmas eve, so many donks out!" and was I ever right. Sadly I can't win a fucking hand @ NL100 to save my life, so no matter how good AA is AIPF, I couldn't win with it. I quickly dropped to 1.6k over 2 sessions of pain and suffering. WTF RIGHT?
So I took a break for church and fun with family, and then I got on after all the evening activities were over and dropped down to NL50 since I'd lost so much. I proceeded to lose money down to 1.3k. I was 24 tabling NL50 and suddenly my tables weren't auto reloading anymore.
This tilted me very much. Therefore I needed more beer.
I sat out on all my tables and went to get a drink and when I came back my GF was in the room and had a look on her face that told me she was very upset with me. She didn't say anything - not when I came back, not when I tried to talk to her and apologize - but I knew that our happy world together was on the verge of shattering.
So I sat with her and tried to talk for a bit... which lead to frustration as she wouldn't talk to me. It ended with her saying I could play poker and I got mad about that, cause at that point I'd chosen her over poker and all the tables I was sitting out on had now kicked me off. I'd decided to sit with her and fix things because she was more important than poker, but she blew me off and sent me back to a dead poker session.
So I tilted hard.
Really hard.
Hard as floofy at a strip club. Hard as Fazi when he has a winning session. Hard as testie when he hacked and got away with it. Fucking rock solid hard.
And I opened up 4 tables of NL200 with what was at the time a 1.5k BR (luckily I'd doubled on enough of those 24 NL50 tables!)
And jee willickers you wouldn't believe it but I fucking ran GUDT! Like really GOOD. Like awesomely good! I didn't suck out on anybody cause with 4 tables I make very few mistakes, but my hands held up and turns/rivers came just right and people were stupid and let me take em to value town. I managed to win about 5 buyins at NL200 and came out with a small loss for the day. Hellz fucking yeah.
So despite this weird xmas curse that raped me @ NL100 and then kicked my ass @ NL50, I was able to win @ NL200 while underolled and recover. Fucking weird shit.
xmas is so lame here. Every year my mom will preface her statement by explaining that she's not born in North America and therefore not good at buying presents (wtf #1) and then says something lame like "we raised you and paid for your shelter/food for the last 18 years that's good enough right? (wtf #2). Same shit happens for my birthday too (wtf #3), which tilts me a little because I never get anything for putting up with the shit she gives me (not physical shit, shit like yelling at me and whatever). I won't lie, I get a little jealous this year because I always see all these awesome presents everyone else gets and how thoughtful their gifts are and how thoughtful they are when buying gifts. It makes me a little sad, to be honest.
It's still not Christmas here. But it's not like any other day at my house, so whatever.
I think they must let all the donks run like god on xmas so that when they got on drunk to play for the first time in months they win money and think they're good and then come back and lose it all by January 1st. Cause I ran like dog shit. Played awesome. Got it in good so many times. Couldn't win anything. Fuck.
So I was lucky enough to be dealt into a stars milestone hand in which everyone gets several buyins and the winner gets like 12 buyins. I read this, considered it briefly, looked down at my K2o and failed to consider the pot odds. The pot odds of a $25 shove into a $310+ pot. So, I folded my K2o. Which is unfortunate because it would have won.

Hope everyone is having a good chirstmas week. I just wanted to do a little update on what Ive been up too.
Its been snowing like crazy here. In the last week we have gotten more snow then I have seen in a long time. Unfortunatly today it started to rain and its supposed to go up to 9 degrees celsius tomorrow so most of the snow will be gone. I was hoping the boys and I would be able to get some good games of pond hockey in over the break but its really not looking like its going to happen. Oh well.
I finally got back out on the ice yesterday for the first time in close to a month. I fractured my foot and have been watching from the stands for a while. We've been doing alright but I was appy to get back out there until I actually got to the practice. We have lost the last 4 games and they were games we for sure should have won so the coaches were a little bit pissed off. But seriously there was only 9 people at practice last night because of the weather/family things for chirstmas and we got skated for half the practice. Sweet way to return. I was dead tired at the end because I have been smoking cigs and dope way to much lately lol. I wont be playing much after this week because Im moving away and where I play is just over an hour drive from my hosue and since I wont have a car its going to be hard to make it there for practice on a tuesday. Not really sweating it that much... school is going to be a blast lol.
This brings me to the new place. I am hoping to be fully moved into my house by January 5. I still need to do another coat of paint + do the trim in my room. I plan on doing that on Saturday. I also need to somehow get a desk into my room. I think Im just going to make one instead of buying a whole desk. The one I have in my room right now would never be able to fit in there once I get my bed and stuff in there. I want my desk to go wall to wall so Im going to need to take some measurements the next time I go down there. I also need to find a new bed for my room. I think I will only be able to fit a double in there if I want to have a decent sized desk. I better get on that eh lol. Im pretty excited to move out. Should be a blast.
My computer has been on the shits lately. My powercord is stripped so I have to fiddle with it for a bit before it starts to charge and its really annoying. Also for a while I have had no sound so I finally took it in to find out whats wrong with it (im not the best with fixing comps etc.) and he basically said there is nothing wrong it might be my speakers. I asked how much it would be to fix this and he said that they would have to send it out blah blah blah and it would cost a lot. Powercords arent that cheap either so I think I might have to get a new laptop. UGH.
Since Ive had to move back down to .25/.5 things have been going alright. Ive been winning consistently but its a pretty slow grind at that level. I doubt I will be able to get Goldstar playing this limit and since Im going to be pretty busy this week I dont think I will be rolled for .5/1 again by the end of the month but thats alright. Ill have a week to grind when I ge tmoved in so hopefully I can grind it out.

24 tabling including fast tables so it's probably just variance going my way this time. im just surprised that im still playing optimally even if i have a shitton of thinking to do too. must be the hunger to be winning again that's really got me so focused lately, gotta admit im trying to avoid 100nl atm coz there's really not much i can do against a lot of the players who are i think better than me or just running good also.
Play vs some really bad opponents. Got coolered and made a couple of spewy plays, but then I just went for straight equity in everything and pwned the shit out of people. Ended the session up a couple of bi.
