2009 WSOP by nolan, July 08

I'm still in the main event going into day 3. I'm pretty sure I have 98k (it's reported as 92k but I believe that is an error) and am feeling pretty good moving forward.

Only one of my roommates is still in and playing today but he has <15bb's so hopefully he can run it up.

Hopefully I can cooler a bunch of donkament fish.

Cheers.

Had a preflop spot midway through day 2 that maybe some of your donkament fish can critique.

My whole table is 80-150bb's deep. The only guy on the table who is opening way too many hands, opens UTG+1 or +2 I forget. There are four callers which at the time was very rare on this table. His open was to 2,000 at 300/600 btw.

I had about 90k at this time. I was dealt AJ clubs on the button. When it got to me I made it 13k to go.

Thoughts?

amsterdam by remember87, July 08

The flight in Stockholm became to late so we missed the flight to LA So now we have to spend 24h in Amsterdam before the next plane leaves. Right now we are sitting here in a coffeshop, me getting tons of water for my friends who is not their normal self..

just saw that FTP finally got there sence back after I had yelled some at them, and they have reinstated my account so I can play at my normal username. Everythings back to normal!

Lifes pretty good!

Does anybody shoped from this online stores. I am looking for a watch and they seem to have the best prices out there but i feel kind of insecure to pay over 5k$ for something that i haven't seen yet and not sure its original or whateva. Also i am curious about the delivery, i emailed them but didn't receive an answer. Sry for bad english.
Some opinions?

Recent Progress by deahttubb, July 08

I have been playing the $2 single table, 18 man and 27 man tournaments and have been doing well recently. My sharkscope says I am still about $130 from sit n go's which is true, mostly from tilt Omaha games and when I hadn't really figured sit n go's out.

What statistics should I be reviewing with PT3 after my sessions? What type of bankroll guidelines are people using? ( I currently have about 65 buy ins for this limit and I think my next limit is going to be the $6 turbo SnG's)

Hello all,

Im not interesting for most players on here to read, but it might help me 'to get my grind back' ...MOTIVATION is very important, I seem to have lost a big part of it, oh well we will see wat happens.

Goals: - get fully motivated, set goals lol
- move up via BRM
- discuss hands more/read more/make blogentries/post more on forums

sigh... by jasper5408, July 08

for me even worse than getting sucked out on when all your moneies are in, is when you don't even get to put it in with the best hand. today was no action on any good hands day, and when u make hands everyone auto folds. it was just really boring. and then lose some monies. make dumb calls (just to prove you run bad!). all in all though, i keep comparing myself to the player i used to be. and that makes me feel alot better. i really feel like today i could have went broke but did a really good job in preventing that from happening. and then you bet half pot, and the guy with middle pair ---> 2 pairs, and then of course he's a short stack and you're now committed

i'm pretty sure tomorrow will be a much better day.

oh, i'm a ...mother goose?

getting so sick of poker and this nonsense.. by Newblish, July 08

Though things ended alot better than they could have i just cant help but let off a huge amount of steam after what i would like to call the Bailamn1 #2 session.(read my last blog post if you want to read that story but be warned i was super pissed off and not thinking as clearly when i wrote that).

Basically i just played some huge donk for like 2 hours straight heads up and had all this shit happen to me:

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/714815

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/714818

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/714820 (no i dont believe it either. believe me (95% equity fails yet again))

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/714823

uh, thought there were alot more than that that i saved.. apparently not. There were like 5-6 more extreme bad beats/coolers i took vs this guy but w/e.

He was up to $550 at point point (this is nl100). But my stubborness made me stay because i refused to let this kind of shit happen twice. I did manage to get to $300 vs $300 which is insanely deepstacked. I wanted every penny back from this stupid dipshit. Thankfully i ended up getting some of my money back, but nowhere near enough.

Its just all so fucking annoying.. i mean i ran like absolute dog shit vs him. I just want to vent my frustration yet again because i cant stand this retarded shit.. i just want to run semi-normal in this game.. not get 1 outtered when i flop an ace high flush or have 10 10 vs JJ deepstacked (which ironically happeend earlier when i was the one with JJ but well.. look what happened - http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/714750

ALllllllllllllll i want is to run semi-normal.. no coolers/bad beats every single session. Please i beg of you o mighty poker gods.

Ok.. rant over.. i would like to thank full tilt poker for its wonderful hospitality in my heads up match. FTP i love you.

Maybe its for the better that this guy left when he did anyway.. if i lost 300BB vs 300BB id absolutely flip out and most likely have nightmares forever. Almost certainly it would have been KK vs AA preflop too or something.

Anyway, lastly - if anyone wishes to comment : how on earth am i supposed to deal with these kinds of ridiculous sessions? I just cant handle the emotional swimg it gives me. I know i was much better than that guy yet he was up 5.5 BI's at one point. Whats worse is im already on an $800 downswing.. Its just so frustrating.

Ok rant REALLY over now. And wow, i think every single blog post so far has been me bitching/venting about how bad i run

Here is a snapshot of the end.

http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/6843/whydoirunsobad.jpg

peace!
