today: +222 in 5k Hands. 4.5 hours. With another ~70 in rakeback.

plus 60 from my 200 FTP bonus. God, FTP is so nice...

i'll be at over 3k tommorow when my rakeback comes. Should be around ~3.5k. going to start focusing on poker by watching some vids again. Right now my play has been decent, but not too great...

i def. need to improve a lot of my game. i feel like its deteriorated for a wihle since last week.

So far ~50k hands in the last 6 days... $+1.5k or so.

Had my best month ever by far, don't think I'll swing more then like 2-3k tomorrow and tonight since I'm fairly tired and probably won't play more then like 5k hands at most and probably not too much 10/20. Made ~3 times what I had hopped for which puts me about 30k€ ahead of schedule since I started out playing poker full time in early June. Also reached another milestone and celibrated by giving 50k SEK (~4.5k€) each to my parents. Felt really good and one of my current goals is to make sure that they both can retire with enough money to live comfortably when they turn 60 (in 3 resp. 4 years). To be honest it feels good from a purely intellectual point of view, but also as a way to get rid of the feeling of almost guilt from considering 2-3k€ or whatever they might make in a month "a lost flip" or whatever. And I do note the irony of buying myself free of the guilt I feel when I spew money IRL, but fuck it, it works.

Goals for August are:

Get hold of and start reading Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke, Swedish Poker Author Dan Glimne recommended it and even if I've long considered him a fairly obsolete nit as far as poker goes he really changed my mind when I spoke to him. The old man is really nice, cool and into sci/fi. Also seems to love Heinlein, which makes him a hero in my book.

Play enough hands to get Unibet to by me into Unibet Open Prague, and preferably at least 2k hands/day whenever it's reasonable otherwise too.

Make lots of money. Despite withdrawing a lot since I feel more comfortable having the bulk of my money on stock trading sites and in the bank I'm only a few solid months away from having a Bankroll play 10/20 even when the games are just "so-so" which would probably help me get much better much faster. I've really gotten a lot better the last months or so and I feel that I've probably got a really good shot at making A LOT of money the next 12 months or so.

I'll probably record a video tomorrow. Mostly for my own entertainment since I haven't recorded anything in a while and it makes me all warm and fuzzy to know that people actually likes to watch and listen to me explain shit. It'll probably be something like "how to fuck with 2/4 TAGfish 101" but I'm open for suggestions.

The next 2 days the blog section will be overrun by boring and annoying posts about peoples month end results and most of the posts won't even get read as they get bumped off the front page so quickly! So hurry up people, go post about your results quickly and let the rush begin! Yeah, I know the month isn't technically over yet, but if you've got a winning month you should just post about it today and not play at all tomorrow so that you can say "Yeah, I won X amount in July, I am awesome".

Sadly I won't be posting a month result post. I quit those. Gonna be doing a year results post. I have a feeling it will be a better picture of the longterm that we all talk about all the time.

I started out July pretty good, grinded a few days at Dusty, had my best day yet when I got home etc. But then I ruined my pokermonth by taking a 2 week vacation in america. So I havnt been able to play near the amount of hands I had set my goal for.

Since I have been playing on my laptop too its hard to give out a graph for the month so I just put it in numbers:

Online: won ~6k$
played hands: around 20k
Live: lost ~1300$

So I am happy about a solid winning month. Even more happy am I for my game though! I feel I have improved tremendously and I am now ready to be a NL400 reg. Its a decent step, they are much better then NL200 regs but I see leaks in most of them so I hope I can get in some serious grindingtime now in August and see how it goes. If I have another solid month before school starts in September that would be awesome!

Now its of to bed so I can drive to Gothenburg tomorrow to see U2 live!

Quite possibly the ugliest graph I've had in a while. I look like I run ridiculously +EV, and well, that's because I did, which I'm thankful for because I did feel like I wasn't running well in the non-EV spots that aren't shown in the graph, but this may just be the musings of a luckbox. I had TRUE run good towards the end though (see 5k day entry below). My red line took a fat dump and just killed itself, and is currently nowhere to be found.

Pretty happy with how it went monetarily, since the one thing I wanted after last month's loss was a 5 figure month. I feel strange though, I'm not satisfied with how I'm playing and I think if I didn't run awesome this month I would be close to another shitty month. So I'm quitting the month early so I can spend the next few days just trying to improve a ton off the tables, something I honestly haven't been doing enough of.

I'm really excited for the rest of the year though, I'm going to be traveling Asia for the next 5 months, mostly for the APPT circuit. Let me know if any of you are going! August is also FTOPS 13 season, which once again I'll be dumping ridic amounts of money into just to try to bink something only to have my soul crushed as I get deep. WCOOP is in September as well, so basically the remainder of this year will be focused in tourneys, I should start studying .

Also wanted to give thanks to all the people that helped encourage me when my results are shitty. I'm going to write a big blog post in September to mark the 1 year anniversary of the time I wrote the blog post "MSNL to Busto". Some of these people include uptown, exhilirate, tianyuan, mikey, jolin, balloonfight, and a lot more. Your words don't fall on deaf ears

I`m really dont know why i`m having so big problems with my A-game. In one day i can be up few BI when in next i`m down more then i was up. Reason? stupid decision, representing aggression. I know that it's really bad but what i can do, maybe i should practice Buddhism like Andy Black?

I saw few times when ppl play really bad but they still were EV+. Luck? Who knows...

Math is idiotic...

wow, it's 5 am and I played poker for 7 hours. If it wasn't for the 15 minutes maintenance service interruption, I would still be playing.

With School just around the corner I need to make as much money as possible this month!~ Ive decided Im going to whore out every bonus I can this month. So I need your help LP on deciding which bonuses are the best to work on. Heres what Ive come up with so far:

UB - 111% first time deposit + 30% rakeback

PartyPoker - My friend told me that the site was pretty soft and the bonus was real easy to clear. Not sure what it is but if anyone knows the deal let me know

Cake Poker - I looked at this site the other day and saw that they had I think 110% firs time deposit bonus + 33% rakeback. I was a bit skeptical about this site just becasue the traffic is so low but Ive heard its a pretty soft field and there is for sure some moeny to be made there

iPoker - Any bonuses worth clearing here?

OnGame - Same question as above

Really looking forward to getting this started. Help me out guys and let me know what you think is worth while and what you think is a total waste of my time.

Played some pokers the last 2 days and it was quite fun even though results were bad

EV + rakeback i had made ~ +120$ which is nice ( in the end suckouts will stop)

I got sucked out for > 1/2 BI in situations were i was a clear (70%+) favourite ~ 15 times in this
I lost 4 of 6 flopped tripps today ...
I lost all flips

well the usual stuff when downswinning
nevertheless i had a bit of fun , too

Funny side note
I think within the 2 years i played poker i was above EV only like 2-3 month

rest of the time i pretty much always was way below EV ...
but i know this happens for others like Exhilrate and K204 , too
i feel a bit better
