Actually feeling rather awesome right now. Actually had enough sleep tonight since I I didn't feel like playing a ton of cash games yesterday. Got 8th at prima's Sunday donkament instead for like 2.9k or something. Ran like Jesus on steroids early while playing like shit and then in the end when I needed it I lost with JJ vs AA once and vs AK 3 times in the last hour, heh. Can't complain I guess, but it felt rather weird. Whatever, still 3k for couple of hours of work which obvious is really fun. Was really cool with the rail too since the rail always hates me. I told them I had learned poker by watching Phill Hellmuth videos on youtube and such and I think like a few of them actually believed me.
Just sat down and watched the latest episode of Entourage which was fairly decent. They always say how that show is really about male friendship and such and I feel that I'll have to agree with that. I don't care much for the cars, I care a little bit more for the eye candy and I rather enjoy Ari's rants but it's still mostly the feeling of comfort that's cool with it.
As far as cash games goes I've play a ton the last week or so. Been doing decent, but I'm mostly happy to get hands in so that I'll get invited to Unibet Open Prague.
Half the people I show it to goes like; "LOL MISSCLICK!" but I actually called pretty fast putting him on a 6 without reflecting on the fact that most 6's in fact beats me. Too much red bull does that to you sometimes.

I think I'm up roughly twice as much as my best month before this one, so it's really nice considering I'm supposed to be a full time pro now. I'm really happy with this and even though I'm not playing my A game 9-tabling 2/4-10/20 I feel that I get a decent bit of experience and many new notes that will pay off in the future. The cool thing is that I'm actually up like 10bi on 10/20 during the last week or so which probably makes me lifetime winner on that limit too. Half a year from now I hope to be somewhat of a reg up there, but I need to get better HU before I can really get there I think. Too hard to get enough hands in if you don't start up tables against other regs and such, and I still feel rather inferior against the best regs there.
Been listening a lot to The Kinks lately. Really unappreciated band. If you like classic rock and such you'd better check them out. A couple of recommendations:

Lola - Classic rock song about some guy who goes home with a tranny. "Where you drink champange and it tastes just like cherry cola" rhymes with "Lola".
Mirror Of Love - S/M weird song that starts out really good but then I think they're singing about some guy instead of a girl which makes it slightly disturbing. Unless you're into that.
Apeman - Wonderfull song about apes and men and such and how nice it'd be to live on some desolated island just eating, resting and fucking.
Trying to get wireless internet on my desktop using netgear wn111v2 network adapter
the cd i have from it wont install the software properly, gets to near the end of install and something about windows visual c+++ 2005 comes up and it says unable to install please try at another time.
However it still allows me to search for wireless internet clicking the button next to the clock in bottom right of screen. My network comes up fine and is usually 3/4 bars out of 5, i click to join the network and enter my password, occasionally it will let me join for 30 seconds then disconnect and other times it will not let me join at all, when it rarely connects for the 30 seconds the internet speed is slow. I have 50mb internet with virgin media and a netgear wireless router which i know works fine because i am able to use the laptop anywhere around the house with no problem.
I am using the network adapter on my desktop and really need it to work so i can get on with some poker. I wasnt sure if the issue is because i couldnt install the software for the network adapter and i dont know if its inteference(theres an immersion heater in the way). If there is inteference would 3/4 bars out of 5 always come up when searching for networks? My pc is a dell i bought about fortnight ago and runs on windows vista.
I really need this sorted, whoever helps me out will get $50 and 5% of any winnings i have in august. Please help me!
Hella days ago(about a yr) i was on tilt and played 1knl for like 50 hands and my heart was beating hella fast. Today was a diff story i was more prepared since I've been doing a lot of HU lately and watched a lot of CR vids since that yr. Often ill take a stab at 1/2 nl hu or 6m when i feel confident in ym game.
Today i played 2x 200nl hu and i insta lost 600 to this one guy and another 200 in less than 30 mins! These guys kept outkicking me ere hand or getting monsters at spots where i bluffed.

Tommorow it's back to grinding 6m 100nl for me. But god knows if i will feel like playing 1knl again in the near future.
So I have continued to run really good live pokerwise. This weekend the regular players, i.e me and two friends played a 1/2 for like 3hrs. Won 450bb this time around and is up about 1000bb in two sessions against these players who plays NL50 on a regular basis. Have strong confidence in my live game now, makes nice plays, pick up tells, call down bluffs etc.
Online have been more rollercoaster like as usual...I have played 4-5sessions of NL10. I was up 16bi:s at most but have managed to drop that to 4...lolz. However I know for sure this will be a + month due to rakeback and I think I have to adjust my game a bit more to show more profit. Don't know really why I suck so hard at online games but almost never lose in live-games...Gotta figure this out. Would be nice to build up a roll online so I can player higherlimits live where I think I would do really good.
Hey I have deposited $150 both on Full Tilt and on Pokerstars. I wanna build my roll up consistently and possibly become a multi million dollar poker player. I want to know if I should use one site for cash games and one for tournaments & sit n goes. My bankroll buy in rule would be three tables at a time with $2 MAX starting off at each table, and then building up to however the "Poker Gods" allow me. Is this a good idea or should I just use both sites as SITES and not be so conservative. The 75 buy in rule makes me exactly at $150. I'm really serious about how to approach this so PLEASE HELP ME GUYS, let me know your input. Constructive criticism welcome.
So, k2o4 tells me that I should fold Ace rag preflop in most situations. I feel differently... so wad u think?
Suppose I have A3, and I am on the small blind. (I am playing .01/.02). So logically I would think it is a good decision to limp here and call with .01 to see the flop.
k2o4 thinks I should either fold or raise preflop but never limp. My logic is if somebody has a pair or AK/AQ pre they will never fold to my raise, and I don't want to get into a huge pot, I just want to see the flop. 1 cent doesn't seem like a lot of money to see the flop. And if I did hit a small pair (ie the 3 hits) my hand is better than AK. So that's why I think I should call the blind.
So what do you think? Can someone mathematically explain to me why it's good or bad to limp Axo preflop. Or is this just a fish mentality?
Today I woke up and forgot why I no longer play tournaments and signed up for quite a few totaling about 2k in buyins
a few hours in I remembered why I haven't played donkaments in 4 months and ended with 0 cashes
also played some cash while finishing up tournies and quickly lost a few buyins but after a small food break won my monies back and adverted a disaster
btw above graph does not include the -700 I 1/2 ran bad and 1/2 spewed the other day (those hands are on my laptop).. I also won't let the spew happen again since I would legitimately like to have an online roll built up.
Been tilted then sick the past couple of days, feeling a little bit better so I think I'll go grind a couple of hours of live tonight.
The camping trip went well and the move is pretty much all done. Now I just need to get back grinding out some hands before the month ends. I really don't think I will meet my monthly goals, but I'm def happy with how I've been playing recently and if I can continue that trend and carry it into the coming months I should see some really nice results. Still no word on the job thing which is pretty retarded, I've now been told by two companies that I'm overall qualified, however, I'm underqualified for everything else. What a great position right lol.......oh well if I can keep grinding it out maybe I won't have to worry about that by years end.
I want to sell 50% of myself for the same $1/3 NLHE that Milkman will be playing. We both go to a local cardroom in Oregon that runs it. I'd be shipping any winnings through FTP. yo i got a weird problem maybe you guys can help me with.
i have two monitors, a 30 and a 20, with the 20 placed vertically.
regardless of which table is primary, when i click view--> tile tables, it always tiles as many tables as it can on the small vertical 20. is there any way to solve this? it does this on my other setup as well.
FTP always seems to know to tile on the bigger monitor.

So after my 40k hand session I slept for a few hours and had a friend come up to stay with me so I wouldn't have that happen again. It has proven to be very very +ev for me when he comes up and we both grind here and I really can't wait till we get out to San Diego in a few months in our grind house. Have been back on the upswing since then including a super sick heater today in a few sessions I played at 6max and full ring. Just seemed like I wasn't running bad like I was during that session and my KK vs QQ were holding up. Only played a few hands but am up around 16 BI for the day which brings my monthly total to a little bit over 9k.
I have been right around 9k for the month 3 times and they were all followed by 40BI downswings right after which has demoralized me a bunch each time but luckily I am staying focused and know I have to get to 10k and win all my prob bets. I would much rather win 8k then lose 8k obviously! About time to get to sleep now and wake up and hopefully can ship it. We are going to be using a 8BI stop loss for potential future sessions this month so I don't end up to far away from the goal.
