OK, in the post below I became convinced, reluctantly, that a Jag is not sensible for me. Can anyone suggest a car type that is very reliable, has the power to tow a heavy trailer and I can buy from about £1k or so?

So I'm just playing about 12 tables of NL50 at Stars to clear a reload bonus I've had, which needs only 150 more VPP.
I'm like 2 hours in almost, and about to end my session. I mouse over one of the players to my direct left on some random table, and I notice it is listed he's in the same city as me. So I ask if he's from the same state, and he says yes.
Pretty cool. Then, he mentions where he lives, and it's in the exact same neighborhood I am. Then I start flipping out, and I said "Wow I live there too!" and shit. Turns out he lives on my street pretty much. Pretty crazy stuff, I asked around what age he was and he's about 17 years older than me, but he has a son that went to the elementary I went to.
What a crazy ass coincidence that I selected just the right table, moused over the right player, with him actually sitting there, and end up managing to live on my street.
Anyways Thanksgiving was today (Happy Thanksgiving everyone!) and I had awesome time spending Wednesday for dinner at my gf's and today I brought her to my family's Thanksgiving party. Was really fun and filling. Final exams are coming soon so after this weekend I probably should stop playing poker and other video/computer games, but should find time again during Christmas break after December 10th. Played NL100 for 3 days but I don't think I'm cut out for it yet. I think I might be a marginal winner at NL100 but I've still got a lot to learn. I ran pretty bad today, only played for 40 minutes but lost with all in pre KK v AA, AA v KK v QQ, and AA v KK and lost 3 or 4 flips. I know this is totally standard but I don't have the BR to take hits like this. I'm at 2150 right now ($150 profit playing NL100), gonna take another shot when my BR hits 2500.

And what made me even loose more on hu. All those mountains are caused by 50nl hus ..Hu is like cocaine..
u enter saying i only play 1 bi if i loose i am done. But it ends last one last one i must get even. And then
u get deep 200bbs hands come where money must go in and loose ..its bad feeling..
I have played fixed limit fairly alot ..and all i can say fixed is can be brutal game. But i think i am good fixed player.
Fixed limit is all about getting initative and put decisions on others..
Now i am back on track and promised i dont play 50hu even before i have like 3k roll or something.
Only thing is i am lacking motivation to play 25nl and i feel like i dont wanna take another huge swing.

first i raise 0.85 pre with KJh vs 88 FLOP 9hTh7s i bet fairly small 1.25 into 1.60 i want villian to play vs my monster draw..
he raises to 4. I go allin 25$ he call.. turn K i am like Yeah...river 6 was. Looked calc i was ahead 56% 43%
second somone preflop raises 0.85 utg+1 i repop 2.5$ on button with 66. He minraises to 5$ ok i knowed he is ahead
but ofcouse he gives me odds calling knowing i fold if i dont hit set. I hit set check he pots i raise allin he calls
AA and gets runner runner flush.. meh.
Well i hope i put some hands into weekend and get my roll to 1k finally :S ..Prolly gonna take stabs on 50nl at 1200$

I'm in San Fran for thanksgiving, visiting my uncle. He does a big shindig and 31 people showed up tonight. Family of family of family. I barely know anybody but the ones I know are lots of fun. Good food and a fun day overall.
Staying here tonight/tomorrow night, fly back to CO on Saturday. Then on Sunday I finish moving out of my apartment. My GF and I started the move last night (wed) and we have the uhaul truck on sunday. We'll crash for 2 weeks at my dads place and then do a 2 week trip to visit family in DC and michigan. The annual xmas tour.
We get back to CO on the 31st, do new years and then another 2 weeks of chilling at my dads place till we fly to cambodia and start a backpacking adventure which will last at least 1 month and at most 5 months, depending on when the money runs. Gonna be a super fun adventure.
Grinding a lot more since I stopped my part time job where I was working on a website for a non profit. Now I've got another part time job doing database stuff at another non-profit, but I'm actually getting paid decent money for this one so that's nice. The other one was much more of a "out of the kindness of my heart" type of thing. Now I'm working less hours and making twice as much as I did at the other non profit, haha.
Less outside work means more poker grinding which has been awesome. Results have been meh, slight profit and nothing amazing, but I've never felt so good about poker. I enjoy it a lot and while I still have a long way to go, I've gotten quite good at eliminating tilt from my game. The biggest thing is that I can pretty consistently leave a poker session and feel happy no matter whether I win or lose. I feel pretty damn close to the same. When I know I had a big session I do get that excitement, but I've done a good job of toning that down. I don't want major highs from big winning sessions and major lows from big losing sessions. I want the same feeling for both since it's all about the long run and the session results really don't mean shit.

Anyway I just felt like doing a rambling blog post since I haven't been blogging much lately. I do want to blog more but since I've stopped doing posts of graphs I have less things to post about. Ever notice how most blog posts have a graph in them? I wanna try and just do 1 graph a year. Or maybe just every 100k hands.

I deposited at Everest poker a few days ago and it's impressive how there's a lot 80+ vpip donkeys everywhere on nl100, but the site is just completely rigged
gonna receive a decent amount of rakeback this month since I played the most part of this hands on ipoker, maybe gonna become rakeback pro since I'm stuck and can't beat nl100.
I just installed PKR Poker and it DLd and updated all stuff.. and now that I wanna lunch it it just crashes.... I could re-install it but that takes so long.. any suggestions?
already tried compitability mode .. also running it as admin... no idea what it could be... also no error information.. it just crashes -_-
I am a huge car fish. In fact I only passed my driving test today, and I want to buy a Jaguar and nothing else. It'll probably be something like a 1993 XJ6. Does anybody have any advice on questions I should ask people when I phone them? And what I should look for when I see the car. Bear in mind I know NOTHING about cars, so it would also help if anyone knows somewhere where I can learn these basics for myself. If anyone gives me lots of help I'm happy to make a donation to their degen fund because I want to do this asap. Thanks...

So dude I staked for some donkaments (only like 400€) went and won some little thing yesterday so won like 1k on that. To bad I managed to lose like 2.5k for the day anyway. Still really cool that my streak of backing guys who actually makes me money continues.
I also talked a bit with my whiney ass friend () yesterday about poker and stuff and basically figured I'd either have to man up and just ignore results for a bit or get of my high horse. The 2nd alternative is never an option!

That was kind of dramatic for my first car accident. Was riding home with my brother and his girlfriend for Thanksgiving on Tuesday. Along the way we hear this rattling and stop at a rest stop to see what it is. The best I could tell it looked like some paneling between the bumper and tire came lose and it was vibrating against the bumper. About an hour later we are on the turnpike in the left lane (2 lane road) and the car starts making this extremely loud noise like a jackhammer but more metalic (turns out a tire blew out). Kind of like if you put a piece of sheet metal in between gears that start grinding on it (saw this in some movie). Two seconds later we are veering off the road sideways at full speed knowing that we're not going to stop until we hit something. Fortunately there was very nice brush instead of trees or guardrail to stop us. We hit it and rolled a couple times and landed upside down.
After stopping I immediately unbuckle my seatbelt, completely forgetting about gravity and land on my head. I crawl to the backseat to help my brother's girlfriend, who is freaking out, get out of her seatbelt. I try to open the door but the brush is wrapped around the car keeping the door pinned in. My brother calls 911 and we chill for a couple minutes until a passerby who stopped opens the driver's door and we all crawl out. None of us had a scratch on us.
The first guy that stopped was actually in front of us and saw it through his rearview mirror and said everyone behind us just kept on driving. wtf is wrong with people.. He also took some pictures that he emailed me
Easy 23k Hand Day 1 of Prop Betby Joeingram1blog, November 25
Hello all, just finished up my second session of day 1 of my most hands played prop bet vs another 2p2er. Was a pretty easy day and I really didnt put in much effort, was able to play 23,742 hands. Felt like I played like 2-3 hours lol. I wanted to hit 30k hands today but the lovely girl I am dating/not dating asked me out to dinner so I cannot say no lol. I think my opposition in this will probably end up with about 25k+ hands for day 1. I also am doing some Thanksgiving volunteering tomorrow morning at local San Diego church so that will chop into my hours played but I will still pwn!
Played a mix of nl25/200/400/600. I got pwned pretty bad at NL25, probably a combination of me 24 tabling all fast 6max tables and the players being so bad that I get reverse owned in a bunch of spots. Really am not focusing much at all when Im playing, just kind of mindlessly grinding. My intention was to see what kind of winrate I could achieve at nl25 6max in hopes of potentially doing a win 10k at NL25 prop bet in the future.
First session there last night I was -517 and my session there today i was +350. Who knows wtf is going on lol. Luckily I win money at higher stakes!!! Just wanted to post a first day update and put up a little graph.
I was at a charity casino with edzwoo and another friend the other night. There was a 3bet pot between this Korean player and this other player. The Korean player bets flop and the other player ships it. At this point, the Korean player doesn't really know what to do, so he tanks for a while, and this middle ages white guy who isn't in the hand says "I'm not going to call clock on you, but we want to play so hurry up." After the comment, the Korean player and his friend (who's also Korean) just starts bitching at the middle aged white guy for rushing him. The argument went on for quite some time; the Korean players kept saying how disrespectful it was to rush someone, and that if he was taking too long, the right thing to do is to just call clock on him. The middle aged white made a comment about how the Korean player's friend should have been raised and even asked where he lived like he was going to look him up or something. Someone eventually calls clock and the Korean player folds.
After the hand, the middle aged white guy points at all of the Asian players at the table, four with myself included, and says "I'm outnumbered here, so I'm leaving." At this point, us Asians at the table were just like "what the fuck?". The other Asian player and I didn't say anything during the hand, and we didn't know anyone at the table but I guess the middle aged man just assume we all knew each other or something. This other white guy sitting to my right asked me if I need some help jumping the middle aged guy in the parking lot, haha.
In retrospect, the Korean player did take a pretty long time. I don't think telling the Korean player to hurry up was a big deal but it looks like the Korean guys got real pissed over it. I just found the entire experience very amusing.
Also, I went up $112 playing 1/2. Not much but made me feel good, rofl.
