So i'm at school working on a compsci lab...it pretty much requires a lot of debugging plus a lot of time to compile and write the shitload of classes...~9 files in total. So me n my friends decided to stay for the night in the lab...we tried to pull off an all nighter. The day before that, we had a dynamics midterm, which is a difficult course, although the midterm was quite fair. Anyways..back to the story..I worked until 4 am..trying to put together shit and stuff, but nothing worked. (i also played quite a few flash games at the same time..). So at around 4, noone wanted to sleep yet, so i ventured off to the other comp lab and i started to 9 table on ps. I had a pretty sucessful run, dominating 6/9 tables i was at, with like 2-3 buyins at each. AFter 2 hours and 1200 hands, i was up $50, and i called it quits. Went back to the other lab and started programming again.

All in all, i never finished the program. Its due today and im pretty much screwed...its too long to write. Its only worth 4% of final anyways

so as spring break dawned and I knew i'd be home with nothing better to do, I made a fun bet with a friend that I could make 1k in a week on 25NL. I'm glad to say that I reached the 1,035 mark last night and cashed out that 1k. My roll on UB is now 1600 and i've made almost 2k on UB in a month. Not too shabby considering with rakeback i'd be banking. I'll have the rakeback situation fixed shortly so it should push my winrate up. Also, I wish I had saved my hand histories from this week just to see my winrate (it has to be over 100bb/hour) considering I made 1k in only about 15 hours of play.

Really liked the style of filming.

Only negative thing I might say, and this is not a spoiler, is that Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro, Brazilian actor), persian emperor/god, is like todays drag-queen.

As for poker, I am back at 200nl for the time, been doing well even though i have some weird ass beats lol. But no whining

ok today was a pretty sick day for me.i lst 5 buy ins in 2k hands and my goal to move to nl 25 run away :/
i dunno what i can do.but i hate to whine here thatswhy i stop here.
i think its not really a psycholigical thing who curse my play
but all in all i hate my game at the end of septmeber 06 i owned all sh tables at nl 50 with like 25 vpip and a high aggresin factor and now i had to move to fr at nl 10 and play tight as hell...dunno what happend i think it begans all as i switched to ftp.i want to get the depo boni and the rb...shit happens they curse bonus whores

Im kinda beating myself up for not putting in more time to this game. My goal was to play 80k hands this month and Im not playing nearly enough. Ive just become alot more concervative about my mindstate etc when I play. I want to be really fresh, full and 100% comfortable and concentrated to play, which means I stay away from the tables a big part of the day. I also stared to practice alot more game selection just the past few days, and during the day the 5/10 games are just not very profitable. All of these aspects show great results in my winrate, but I want to get more hands in, and I will have to work on that. Theres just so much money to be made and it feels like a waste to just sit around and not get disgustingly rich.

Yes, I did play some 5/10 today. I know I said I wanted to wait until I had a 50+bi roll for it but awell. I felt really good about my game and saw some juicy tables so I hopped on and It worked out pretty well. Aslong as I practice table selection and try to stay away from the toughest regulars Im sure I can be a winner at these games.

My session today (both 5/10 and 3/6) ended up somewhat well. Im actually up 1k more on 5/10 than what pokertracker displays since I made a "table transfer".(anyone know how to delete 3 hands from PT database?)

I have a couple of hands I'll have to copy and paste from poker tracker.

However a note. I have noticed since I've started that these tables can be extremely loose depending on the hour. I have noticed that in the afternoon the tables are extremely tight, and at night they are extremely loose. Reraise on flush draws, and calls down to the river w/ second pair.

I past the $400 mark today, and with that I became a bit too results oriented... I didn't want to risk losing money (in which case I still did). This hindered my game quite a bit too because my aggressiveness was lost... I am not sure if it was from my style (I HAD to tighten up a lot because I kept spewing) and as time progressed I noticed that I stopped spewing and the variance died down. I will play some in the morning and some at night because I notice the games are totally different... but the donks are still there haha.

Down like $150 in sng this month. Down like $100 in nl25 this month. Down like $60 in nl10 this month.

I think im playing ok, especially in sng. probably being insanely too aggro at nl25. All in all i just really dont have any confidence and am really questioning my game. A week of losing sessions can do that i guess.

I think im going to lower my number of sng tables from 24 to 12 and my cash tables from 12 to 8. Maybe I can fix some of my leaks by doing that.

I make the odd bad play occasionally, but i seem to be playing solid ABC poker, raising premium hands and all pocket pairs folding AJ to a raise etc. Cont betting flops folding to any action, but somehow i am losing buyins.

I'm running bad admittedly people keep hitting 2 outers against me, i flop set vs set too, people paying way too much for their draws always seem to hit etc.

But it cant all be luck, im sorry but theres no way im playing properly and losing like this its just unreal, i need to find leaks in my game, if anyone can look over my hands and point any flaws id appreciate it massively since i know im better than this~

so I am up another hundo or so in NL25 and I hope this can keep coming 'till NL50. If not watever but I would like to mantain winning at least 2 buyins a day at NL25...in a perfect world. Idk if I will play tomorrow so gl with all your play.

Been playing some nl10 to regain confidence after my bad run of poker. Its been going okay, i am still running just as bad though.

Played about 6000 hands over the course of 3 days 6 tabling nl10 on party. First day was a losing day just completely due to bad luck. Second day i did well and went up like 5 buyins thanks to a couple really donk players.

Todays session has started very badly, down 2 buyins thanks to a setup and, wait... make that 3 buyins, just hit set under set :D:D:D one hand i think i could have folded but the guy was a real donk and made a lot of stupid bets etc so i called and he showed his set.

Also managed to lose AA vs QJ as a 1pair on flop, gg.

hey lperz,
iam the h to the k herrkeuner and running bad since october but what else...after uncountable moves to similar sites i decided to stay at partypoker and hope i can beat anything and beat my long badrun and fuck all the asses who fucked me before mkeh?!
to rebuild my br i started with 200 bucks at party and manged it to let my br grow to 320 atm...but it could happen that this roll does not exist tomorow...

Today I've made it ! After clearing bonus at empire poker I've got 1000$! To be exact 1003$.

I've played a bit of NL50 just to evaluate how Tough it is there. Now i'll tell you little secret. It's very very easy! I've run very bad session when I've run into several Bad beats AA vs AK board xxQJT and so on but mysteriously I've managed to end up like +1/2 bi which is nice concidering what I went today through.

I will try tommorow or later today 4 tabling NL50, it is so great feeling to play for 2x more My biggest pot so far was 97$ which I never saw before (anything close to it ! . I know this can and will sound very silly to everyone who plays mid or high stakes but I'm happy about it

I hope I will never have to grind NL25 again but If I will drop few bi in NL50 I will quickly move to NL25, dont want to fuck my BR by some tilt issues.

Ok so I finally decided to move up to NL600 to catch up with that luckbox SakiSaki once again Well of course while it is my first try on NL600 and my BR is still quite marginal for the stakes (at least marginal by my criteria), SakiSaki is already taking shots at 1kNL, but whatever

My first NL600 session didnt go particularly well, I started off going down quite a lot, like 3 buyins. But in the end I managed to get it all back and end little more than 1bi up I made like 2 expensive mistakes, when i decided to play my top pair in a reraised pot even though it was pretty obvious my opponents had me beat. Well, it was obvious after the hand, not when I decided to put the money in the middle.

I dont want to make any judgements just yet, but I think I should be able to beat the NL600 game. The competition is pretty similar as on NL400 - a lot of players who play NL400 play NL600 too. Probably a wee bit tougher, but not a big deal. I would be pretty satisfied if I could beat this game for about 4ptbb/100, but I am far from sure that I will able to.

As for March results so far - I have played quite a lot, definately more than I would play in an average week. I wasnt running extra good, but not bad either. I think my winrate could have been better, but whatever, I dont complain:

My plans for the next days are:
1. to go to the Spring Poker Festival in Vienna tommorow to watch and play in some minor tourneys / cash games.
2. after that to play both NL400 and NL600 games and beat them and move to NL600 exclusively in about a week.
3. bankin!
edit: 4. oh and try to force myself to do at least the necessary minimum for school so that I dont have any problems with it.

ight guys so I've played NL25 for like 3k hands and up 10 buy ins. Although I know i'm on a sick heater I still feel as if i'm playing solid like i was on NL10 and making nice bluff calls at times. It feels nice to be a mexican nit like Doomerfd and stack mad faggot noobs.

current roll: $761.88

(Hopefully i can keep this heater going untill i hit like 1250 then i will move up to NL50)

-i think if i hit $2000, i will cash out 500 for a little reward and keep the grinding going.
