After the tourney score and a fully replenished bankroll, i decided to hit the 1/2 and 2/4 tables tonight.

I ran pretty well, other than running AKs into wobbly's AA. Wasn't sure of his image to well, felt I needed to call.

Heres my stats from tonight;

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 1265 hands and saw flop:
- 67 out of 207 times while in big blind (32%)
- 46 out of 208 times while in small blind (22%)

SNGs were fun, but I missed playing ring games, so I decided to take a shot at starting 25NL after building my BR through the SNGs to about $550. I've been 6-tabling 25NL for the past 4 days and I've been killing it so far in my first 2100 or so hands, even though I only play about 1-2 hour sessions of about 500-1000 hands each. Here is my PT and graph for 25NL:

The sample is small so I don't know if I'm playing well or running well atm, but I think my stats look pretty decent so I'm just going to keep it up and hope this continues. I also like playing these short 6-table sessions instead of longer 12-table sessions, they are much easier and I still get results. Once I get a bigger BR for 25NL I'll probably progressively add a few more tables and see how it goes...the players aren't COMPLETE idiots anymore.

The only thing that really sucks about this progress is that it might all go to shit and I'll have to probably play 10NL again with only about a $350 BR soon. If I end up having to pay my fines in full it's going to run me about $450 and I'll need to cashout around $250-350 or so depending on how much cash I have before Wednesday. Ugh...

wow college got busyyyy so i took a minor break and only played SNGs for a bit while getting really settled into college.

College kind of is what i expected, nothing is really hard its just kind of annoying. Calc 1 definetly = bad beat. lots and lots of theory and manipulation. My other classes are rather easy (euro history 18th cent-present, social issues(political philosophy), and a computer class). Living off campus is making it kind of hard to find games but i feel i just need to network more. But for now im having funnn

NL10 very soon and thinking about switching to FTP for rakeback i guess but ive grown accustomed to stars and really like it there. if anyone reads..at such a low level is it advised to have a split BR to play on 2 dif sites or just focus on one till you move up?

today was a nice day, i started the day in the tourney circuit and got 1st in a $20 180 man sng for a cool $1000.

After that, iI made it to the FT of the 25k $100 nightly tourney and got 3rd.
was knocked out A8 vs A6, allin preflop..

I had A8

Oh well, won 5k

Finally downloaded PokerGrapher and am popping my graphing cherry with my entire time playing NL10 over the last 24 days... so basically my September, though I did spend a few days and NL5 in the beginning of the month.

I have also failed to make any mention of my personal life in this blog (outside of a new computer). This has lead me to having my ass kicked by my girlfriend... she may only be 5'5" but she's got a sharp tongue and, well, I'm a total sucker for her. Ah ha, I fucked up already - I said girlfriend instead of fiance... If I don't post for a few days, plz call the Denver police and report a missing person!

Wish I had some new pictures for you guys who have already seen these ones, but they're on her computer and I'm too lazy to get em off right now.

Getting ready to have my first session on NL25... slightly nervous, kinda excited, and overall eager to play my best. Just finished updating my PAH database so that I can try to limit the lag while I play. Gonna play 4-6 tables for now instead of 10-12 like I have been doing at NL10. Focus on reading and getting used to this limit... see if there's any big change in skill. Plus it's a Monday night, so I'm probably not going to be seeing that many scrubs. Let's hope it goes well!

if anyone is interested in staking me for 25nl or 50nl, let me know. i don't have more pt stats since my hard drive crashed. my august graph for 50nl (first month there) was pretty nice though, about 24k hands of 7.5ptbb/100 poker.

if i don't get any offers, i'll be redepositing after i collect some debts from friends. i'll be restarting from 10nl or 25nl (with 15ish bi). should i switch to stars? i hear they have easier micros than ftp. otoh, i could probably get my girlfriend to sign up for rakeback on ftp. if anyone can offer insight, i'd appreciate it.

The first two days of poker havent been too great im going to post my stats...can someone tell me where im playing bad at 50nl 6 max...based on my stats i have posted below...alot of the losses have been some bad beats but i have also made numerous bad plays also.

So I went to the grocery store today to buy some stuff. Went to the back of the line to pay them and a police officer was in front of me. It was his turn to pay his chewing gum, couple of sodas and more trash food. He had to pay $42.30 mexican pesos ($1 USD equals around $11mex pesos).

The lady asked him if he wanted to donate the cents to this national donating program (This money is to support schools, poor families, etc, by donating the cents, for example, if your bill is $40.80, they'll ask you to donate 20 cents). He said "Yeah" and the lady replied "The 70 cents?" (which are $0.06 USD) and he went like "omg, nevermind, that's too much, I would donate 0.20pesos though but I can't now" while looking at me with a very tilting smile, like if he wanted to me say "you're right buddy, 0.06USD are a lot".

What tilted me the most is the way he looked at me, like trying to get some back up for his cheapness... fucking mexicans tilt me so bad T_T

(I paid with credit card, so there were no cents to donate)

(BRMA update)

Tonight's session was helluva ride. Days before I was running pretty hot so cooler was not much of surprise. I kept playing my standard aggro game only this time I ran into more (nitty)TAGs on a heater then ever - hard to differentiate from ordinary lagtard.

However what really makes me satisfied was that (contrary to how I played in the past) I wasn't really intimidated by running into good hands way too often. I didn't tilt at all and just kept putting pressure on my opponents and abusing position - all the good things one is supposed to do. It was just a matter of time when my 'vanilla tag' opponents will lose control after me holding them long enough out of their comfort zone and when my over-aggressive-donk image (while in fact I was 21.5/17.7/3.0) will fool someone. Eventually I got there 'with fireworks'.

lol whats going on right now is unreal

down 12 buy ins or so now the last few days.

some of this is also due to bad play
but at least 10 buy ins are purley due to river suckouts when i was ahead by a mile in the flop/turn all in situation and some others are simpyl setups.

I also start to miss value cause i see the nutz against me almost every hand. ( You know this typical downswing syndrome after you lost a buch of hands that you were ahead a mile)

Well, September was pretty uneventful. I am/was stuck on the month. Hard to say how much due to my new comp/new database(my old one crashed), but im guessing about 5k. I wasnt terribly focused all month, and took a lot of shots. Unfortunately, I didnt run too well. Happens.

So, I decided I am going to play a minimum of 40k hands this month at 2/4. I want to make sure I am a decent winner at 2/4 before moving up. Hoping for a winrate around 5ish, but maybe ill run sick hot like Evan and be at like 10ptbb. I will be playing all of the hands on Full Tilt unless their software starts gaying me again.

Other than that, my life has been pretty meh. Currently pledging in a fraternity here at school. Very excited about that. Classes are pretty meh, but I am getting by, and starting to get back in the swing of things(have been out of school for a year and a half). Unfortunately, I have not yet met a girl. Not sure why, but I am going to really work on that this month. Anyways

This September may actually have been the best month I've ever had.

September 1st BR $950, Oct 1st BR $2120 + $444 set aside to be sent back to the person who offered to stake me for PLO tournaments since I've been putting up good results. Other than that I find I'm getting a bit more serious about poker and as a result have had to develop the right kind of mental toughness and attitude to be able to play this game.

As a last note I'm open to any staking opportunity to play the weekly $215 PLO if anyone is interested.
