played well and i think ill be playing 25nl everyday just to ease the poker itch after the 50nl session( that is if i win like 3 to 4bi or else im just playing through the day purely 50nl) tokeweed is gay but i think he really has a point busting my balls about my winrate more than the $$. so i guess playing well and stopping when i get a good number of hands and a solid winrate is good. if i just wanna fuck around i can always play 25nl afterwards. here's my pt yest nice 5bi rush.this is my 2nd session:

Today, I reached 2.5k for the first time after winning a DS to the sunday mil and selling the ticket, followed by some grinding.

So yeah,some of you may have noticed I recently moved up to NL50 mainly cuz I was bored on NL25 and I thought I'm ready for NL50...It worked out good,won lots of money,playing good etc,making some "bad" plays once in a while but its only cuz of villains tendencies...

In general life is going well,happy with my new comp playing all kind of games that I couldn't of before,this upcoming month I need to buy myself DX10 graphics tho which will cost about 300$,and ofc have to pay bills so I'll be cashing out again,but not too much.

I guess I owe my poker success to a few factors,like playing good(I think so),running good,Artanis,Erling and Radiohead and last but not least LP in general.

Many people here have helped me alot to develop as a player and for that I am thankful.

I hope everything will continue to go well in the future so I can actually expand my horizons a bit.

Heres the graph of since I moved up,also checked a large sample of hands before I removed my old comp and it seems im a 9.5BB/100 winner of 230k hands sample which made me really happy.

Sup guys, I'm a new poker player coming from SC. Silver got me started with 15 bux on Stars and he's given me tons of help (thanks!!). This blog will chronicle shit that I come across while playing and if you're new at poker you might get something out of it too.

My goal is to grind 1/2c till I get 300 then move up to 2/5c, as per Silver's advice. I've found it pays to listen to him. For example, he adviced to start with 2 bux and leave after getting like 3. Being cocky I got up to 6 on a table and decided to keep my good run going. Cue wtfpwnage from the poker gods, losing my $6 to a guy who got 2 fullhouses in a row and I had a set so couldn't lay it down.

During week one I swung more than old couples who have a penchant for black guys. But on Sunday I had a good run and got up to 30 from 15.

Now in week 2 I'm working on pitching my hand when cbetting and getting called or raised. Might as well cut my losses and wait for the times when noobs just throw money at me.

I'm 8 tabling 6 max and playing about 1000 hands a day on weekdays because I have a fulltime job that I quite like. I'll try to put in more hours becase I'm hungry to get to 300 and move up.

Well so far so good. Day one is over and I'm up 1.5buy-ins. Not really sure what to be expecting as far as buy-ins per hour, but hey 1.5 is still better than losing. Time to good to sleep. Good night everyone.

K well after dropping alot in less than like 800 hands, i decided that i could do better, and it was just bad luck that curb stomped me for my first attempt. Not to be beaten so easily, i went back to 100nl after a little break and was able to recover most of my losses. I dont find 100nl all that much harder than 50nl, just that people certain types of hands differently than the donks @ 50nl. Also, there's a shitload more 2+2 grinders or whatever who play really ABC. I was pretty liberal with my raises , but ended up fucking up a few big pots when i thought i was in a marginal situation - turns out that i was over thinking and giving my opponents way too much credit for hands.

For e.g, i get AA do a standard 4x bb, utg limper calls

flop 47h6h, i lead for 3/4, he calls
turn 7 , i lead for 1/2 pot he rr's 3x, i think and think and think and somehow feel that im beat or he's on some fucked up hand. I just couldnt put him on a hand but felt like i was beaten, i decided to call anyway because im stupid and was genuinely curious
river 9h, worst card ever, and he puts the rest in, i insta fold saving like 30$, and he says he had QQ

Despite getting shit on in the first 800 hands, and those 2 misplayed hands, i was able to grind back to a little less than half a buyin down through just value betting the balls off a couple of deepstacked tardos. I actually would have been up a buyin or two if a whale on one of my tables who was running something ridiculous like 40/2 hit some crazy 2p to a running flush against my set. But meh, those people will fuel the game long term, so i cant be mad at that. (just annoyed when it happens to me :< )

So anyway, it was a fun time being "reunited" with my old stakes, and i look forward to learning the regs and just farming fish till i get a bigger BR. I might stick at 50nl for a little bit longer to pad the BR a bit, and take shots @ 100nl 4-5 times a week.

Next goal: 4k BR
Deadline: 1st of March

Hello, I'm Jason Speed, however most of you probably know me better as NotSorry. Well after some recent events in my personal life I've decided to take another shot at poker and this time attempt to do it the right way. Now for the normal, about me part ^ ^.

My full name is Jason Russell Speed, I was born 10-21-1987 and currently live in Redding, California. I have two children, a daughter Autumn Rose Speed age 3 and a son Trenten Aleksander Speed age 2months . I got married in December 2007 to my girlfriend of 5years and mother to both of my children.

I'm technically a 5th year college student however I switch majors like a pair of socks so I'm still without any degrees. I work nights for Winco Foods doing freight it's an easy job with good health coverage for myself and the family.

In my free time, which there is generally very little of, I enjoy movies, hanging out with friends usually involves a lot of alcohol and a not so happy wife the next morning, but it's worth it. It's currently snowboarding season around here, I have yet to go this season there is a good storming coming in the next few day then supposed to be a long patch of clear skys at which point I will be going as much as possible. I also train MMA (mostly Muay thai and BJJ also some classic boxing and wrestling) at Axis Academy here in Redding California. The main instructor is a Gracie Black Belt. I haven't had any official fights yet, should have some before the end of 2008. Aside from all that I just sit around and play Dota while telling Nazgul how terrible he is.
