I guess i failed at my anatomy test that was last thursday ... allthough i learned a shitload T_T


Today i had 2 tests that i passed pretty good

9am was 1h sports psychology III written test
5pm was 2h Judo test ( demonstrating throws and doing some randori and a train fight)

I dont have my results for psychology yet , but am positive i did quiet good since i was able to answer all the qeustions

Judo i pretty much owned the randori and the sparring with my MMA background
( to be honest i suck at Judo but i am half way decent at fighting and i can throw and takedown people and control them on the ground with my MMA background and BJJ )
I recieved 1,00

weeeeeeeee
scale was 1-15 points and 15 points means 1,00 grade.

Tomorrow i have a 2h written test in Kinematics III
Wednesday i have a 2h test on sociology and a practical swim test ( 400m in less than 7 minutes)
Friday i have a 2h test on Statistics and some athletics ( high jump and hurdles)

I had so many tests in the past weeks allready that i feel kinda burned out T_T
I havent sleept more than 4 hours average/day the last 3 weeks
Nevertheless i must keep with the pace till friday


Man i d be so glad if i just could sit back , relaxe , play some poker
go out to a club , met some girls and have a fun time.

But after 8 february i have 2 months of free time !!!!
ANd i will party as hard as i can .
Play 100 K hands of Poker , go out every evening,party hard and try to get every half decent looking girl laid that i see

I recently started playing poker again. I always sucked and didn't have discipline to stick to one thing to improve before but now I wanted to change that. I committed myself to play 10k hands of 5nl FR without fooling around with SnG and other stuffs. I did just that and here are the results.

Anything wrong with my stats or that I need to fix on?

I was doing good on my first day then on second day, I drop to all time low. After losing about 2 buyins around 7000th hand I was pretty discouraged but I wanted to finish my 10k hands. I said to myself if I can't even up by end of 10k hands, I would just quit. I ran pretty well after that and ended up with $5.91 profit after 10k hands.

I have few questions though. I think it's kinda stupid question so I will just ask here and hopefully someone reads.
Is it bad to just have $5.91 profit after 10k hands?
How long(hands, days) does it 'usually' take for new players who start their bankroll with $50 to move on to the next level?
I was thinking of trying out 6max, what do you think?

i have warrantly on it but i dunno if i should send it back to seagate
my ps/ftp and other important passwords are saved that harddrive

should i send bak my hd? risking a very minimal chance that someone would take data out of that hd?

So i met my goal of 800 BR to transfer 600 to FTP and keep a smallish BR on stars today. Had some crappy sessions in the beginning of this month, 2 sessions where i had to stop because i met my 3 BI stop-rule, but i recovered neatly. Went back to NL10 to get my confidence back, made back some of the money, then went on to tournaments and got back the rest and some more. Even played in the Liquid poker tournament on sunday, but went out on third because Artanis kept giving me bad advice (;D). It wasn´t my fault, it was his. I blame you. He was liek ZOMG SHUV DAT QTs, and i said But my dear Starcraftian friend, i cannot, because i know he has me beat!, and DEN HE WAS LIEK LOLOLOL U R TEH NOOB SHUV DAT SHIT LOL.

Anyways, then i had this session today. Running goooot.

No. I'm not at 200nl as promised (lol). But I've finally moved up and gave up on 50nl FR. Ran like total shit over 45k hands, making money, winrate is embarrassing to say the least, needless to say I did win good money there, maybe like 20bi, more or less. I've switched to my old game, but surprisingly enough, I feel the sheer number of hands I've encountered mass tabling FR gave me good experience in terms of board reading and loosening up my game. I've done pretty well today playing 25,50 and 100nl. Won pretty much on all levels giving me a profit of close to 500usd today alone. yay!

BR update: 5931usd -----> playing mostly 50nl 8 tabling and 4 tabling 100nl after. unfortunately I have to let go of 25nl if I have any plans of winning at the higher levels. I still do once in a while get 2 or 3buyins there when I'm really really bored, but i don't FR atm, coz I got burnt out playing all those fellow nits for the past month. My goal for this month is to win 5K and make my br grow to 10k or more. I know it can be done and I will do everything to reach that goal by this month. wish me luck

Session 4 was a rocky one, found myself down 3BI barely 300 hands in. Decided to move back down to NL5 where I continued to run over all tables like nothing to patch up my BR with a shiny new bandaid for tonight.

I'm in the process of moving into a new apartment. It's going pretty well considering out limited budget and resources. For one, no truck or SUV to move stuff with. No money to rent a truck. So we spent 2 days driving around in my step-dad's 54' Ford pickup truck which is rust-stained to shit and way before power steering. There's a million things wrong with it and let's just say driving that beast is a constant rollercoaster at a subpar amusement park where you don't trust the tracks at all. We're about halfway in which means a couch and coffee table but no entertainment center, TV or end tables. It means 1 bookshelf in the office but enough books to fill another 2 sitting on the ground.

So we've got a few more things we need to go pickup but not sure how to approach it since gas for my step-dad's truck is ridiculously expensive but I'm not sure renting a truck would be much better. I guess a bit easier on the heart since I wouldn't be having so many near heart attacks. We're scouring Craig's List and flea markets ($15 for our coffee table, whee!) and doing occasional runs into Target looking for the cheapest things we can find. Despite our tight wallets we've done quite well and the place is starting to look very nice, especially thanks to my GF's photo's that we've hung all over the walls. She has ambitions for professional photography and worked for Cosmo a bit... no, we don't have pic's of models everywhere. When she lived in India she took many great street portraits and they make for great eye candy along our walls.

I'm losing my focus here...

Haven't had much time for poker over the last few days. I normally read every post on the forums and am sitting around waiting for someone to do a new blog or post a new hand. Now I have no clue what the hell's going on anymore but that's ok cause I've spent some time in the real world with my lovely lady (as I like to call her). Talking about her, here's a few new pics that I haven't posted yet (pics in spoiler):

Anyway, moving on to moving in, har har. It's very nice to be in our own place again as we've had to crash with the 'rents for the last few months. Originally we thought we'd be moving to Costa Rica in September to do some work down there, but it got delayed to January. Then in January things got canceled which is good with me cause Colorado is where I want to be. I travel a lot and this is where I like to come home too. Plus, for the first time in my life I have a woman I love and we're dedicated to each other, while I'm also making enough money to live comfortably doing what I want. Finally real independence... and it's great.

Once I get fully moved in we'll do some pics and show it off a bit. Till then I'm gonna be kinda scarce though I need to get back onto the poker train ASAP to make some cash to finance all the millions of little things you need when moving into a new place. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you what this place is like... it's a 2 bedroom townhouse. The bedrooms are upstairs along with a full bath. Downstairs is a large living room, a half bath and a full kitchen with a dinning area. We even have a basement with a washer/dryer down there (installing tomorrow). Pretty spacious and by far the best place I've ever lived on my own. It keeps getting better and better as we furnish it and I think it's going to be pretty pimp by the time we're done.

After session 2 I found myself rather dejected and questioning every play. So I decided to get some lunch and a solid nap, before coming back. Dropped back down to NL5 to rebuild my confidence as well as my BR after a 6BI drop in session 2. Just opened up 4tables 6max NL5 and wasn't really watching the tables, just reading forums on TL/LP and listening to some music. Played 20/16/4.

Started chatting with some people over msn and one asks how my session is going so I pull up PT3 and realize I'm up 85$ on NL5. So I decided to set a goal to reach 100$ before getting back at NL10. About 15mins later I find myself with AA in late position with a raise, reraise and a call in front of me. I reraise half expecting to get no more action, yet all 3 call me, drawy board, and checked too me so I shove it in and all call. My AA holds up and I find myself sitting with 104.10.

Goal reached. Confidence is back, and my BR is all patched up from this morning's ass raping. Taking a short break for some dinner and a short work out, then planning for an all nighter. Wish me luck ^ ^.

Welll...4 days off a little bit of advice and sweating from some friends later i think i've realized a few leaks that i had that weren't apparent at all. Headed back down to 50nl FR and just grinded it out using a few new techniques and ideas and was able to grind up 4 BI's w/o too much difficulty - i dont know how psychological it is, but i find 50nl just sooo much easier to read than 100nl which seems so much more volatile. I have a feeling it's part running bad / playing bad that affected that tho.

There are some people who offered me coaching that i will definetly take up their offers on, as soon as i get my rakeback back for the month. expect a pm soon.

ive finally decided to go 100nl 6max 4 tabling. 50nl was kinda soft and i beat it consistently so i guess it's safe to move up and test the waters so to speak. ran really well, hit my fd+midpair reshoves so it really doesnt determine whether I'm good enough at this level or not. i play like 25/20, but the guys here omg call so lightly for stacks it's ridiculous. pt is here. played both 50nl and 100nl with solid results.
