I think i definitely figured out an agressive postflop style which absolutely crushes Nl50 6max
I mean i lose 2-3 big pots for stacks in every session and yet end up 7BB/100 after 11,5K hands ...
I just rape the hell outa the bad Nl50 regs with well timed agression. Havent met 1 Nl50 player to give me trouble ^^
I had 19 winning and only 1 loosing session in my last 20 days of Nl50

Wellt his saturday i went to a Sigur Ros (and others) concert in a place called Tepoztlan which is supposed to be some kind of sacred place so they said you coudnt drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes, that fucking straight edge faggot shit pissed me off and despise being a big fan of SigurRos i decided not to go, fortunately for me, the previous day my friends convinced me to go (while drinking obv).
Well turns out they did allow to smoke, they probably chickened out that they wouldnt get so many entries but they stood firm on no alcohol, i dont have to say that produced a shit load of drug smuggling heh and we werent the exception
The place was amazing, we were surrounded by a Nepal-like nearly vertical mountains and in combination with the music as the night fell it created a very nice atmosphere. On the negative side i took some acid and i were hanging out with a friend who is plain hillarious so we laughed or asses off non-stop for hours so the acid hit me much harder so i were a bit busy fighting my mind and trying not to freak out so i couldnt enjoy the music as much as i would have liked, but it was still godly, especially when at night they threw metallic papers that looked like stars when the light hit them, beautiful show... by far the best concer i have been in.

I don't post that much but do try to keep updated on the actual events of the online pokerworld thanks to liquidpoker. Now it's time to contribute a litte more. I'm going to try to setup an entertaining blog.
i have now a 700$ BR built at nl5 & nl10 so i want to move up to nl25 tomorow.
I want to play FR.
Can you tell me what's the major differences between nl10 & nl25 FR please. I found a thread on LP but it's for 6max only.
As i'm not too confident all advices are very welcome.
Tonight I played 2 tables of 3/6 and managed to build some nice rolls on both tables.
I've managed to build my roll back to a respectable amount, and will be grinding numerous limits. Only reason i got into this late night session was a crazy party last night, theni got home and never slept, played sketched out, drunk n high..lol
So heres my stats from todays session

Things have been looking up, atlantic city is just a couple weeks away, and hopefully i can win a WSOP ME seat. I hae a tourney on June 15th for the seat, top 200 qualify.
I realized today that I have no clue how to play full ring anymore... seriously, what's the trick? I remember I used to be a mega uber super nit. Is that the trick? Should I just load up like 20 tables of full ring and sit back and wait for sets? I've been playing 8 tables @ about 27/23/4 lately and am very much in the groove of playing LAG poker. I'm not really sure anymore what I'd have to change to play full ring on low stakes successfully... Should I just go back and re-read grot's guide to get an idea of hands to play and be willing to open up to my regular game in late position?
Part of me feels like grinding lower limits might be more profitable and fun if I do the mass FR multi-tabling. But at the same time if I do that I won't be working on my game very much at all and I'll get into a nitty habit rather than a LAG one. And when I move up again I'd rather be in full out LAG mode.
Oh well, hopefully someone will post a comment with some good advice. I'm too lazy to go look up some sorta FR strategy or hand guide or anything like that, and I'm worried that if I move to FR I'll just over-do the level of LAG and spew.

So my good run at 400nl has come to an end. I made 10k the first week of june and pretty much lost it all in the last 2 days, probably over 2k hands. I've gone back to being a calling station in spots where the other guy just can't be bluffing but I'll convince myself he has a flush draw, or tell myself he is value betting thin so I'll raise him with tpgk.
I still think I can beat 400nl but I'm taking a couple days off to work on controlling my mental state while playing. The worst mindset to be in while playing is to constantly think that people are bluffing you. Since most of the regs are playing 19/16 tag, they're really not bluffing you often because they usually have a medium strength hand to begin with. There's a decent amount of double barreling but 3-barrel bluffs are so rare. I think what happens is that I see a reg squeeze and 3-barrel with 35s and then think that he does that all the time. But in reality he was squeezing for legitimate reasons (i.e. the coldcaller was a station and ended up peeling the flop with overs) and then triple barreled because the King and Ace hit on the turn/river. The thing to realize is that this was selective aggression in a particular spot against a particular opponent. His play was actually very good in that spot, and that image ended up costing me a buyin later on.
girl update: she still tilts me but whatever, i think it's worth it for now.
So it's been a while since I did a poker related post, since the last one I've been playing 25NL but it's been a bit difficult to put in hours (I got a full time job 3 weeks ago, it's only full time for the next 5 weeks, then I move to part time), making minimum wage selling computers/computer hardware basically -.- Oh well, it's not so bad I guess
I'm 18 in 6 weeks! Can't wait, going to the casino the weekend after my birthday with a few friends to crush some horrible live players I hope, should be great fun
Anyway I feel like I'm really playing some decent poker and I'm REALLY_REALLY looking forward to moving up to 50NL, can't wait to make some decent money (hopefully ). I feel like I'm actually playing some decent poker now and I feel like I'm actually adapting to players instead of just looking at the HUD and deciding on plays. I know I'll look back on this post in a couple of months and laugh but I really feel I've learnt a lot from 25NL.

Sooooo I just finished 7 hours of poker, of which a significant portion consisted of me ONE TABLING 3/6.. I couldn't fucking leave, between 200 and 300bb deep, shorthanded, vs a 75/25 fish, with position on him. Oh maaaaaaaaaan he was baaaaaaaaaad. He started adjusting a little and I was a bit carddead for a bit, but still finished up on him despite a poor end to the session (down like 500 from my high point, oh well , was standard stuff).
He was like sooo easy to play vs too for most of the time, like betting super small when he had nothing, snapcalling with like jack hi on the flop and and mucking turn blanks (this was soooo helpful when he flopped top set with AA and timed down before he called, then checked it down).

Before this awesome 3/6 session (which I didn't finish up THAT much on, only about a buyin despite having 3 buyins on the table =P I guess I must have lost a bunch before that, not that I remember, got tables scrambled after the software froze on me).... anyway, as I was saying, before the 3/6 1 table marathon I was looking for a 2nd table to add, and as there were no good ones at 3/6, I looked at 5/10.
Found a table with a 50bb stack and a 100bb stack, opened it just in time to see the shortstack open jam preflop and sat down as fast as humanly possible He was, indeed, quite literally batshit insane and managed to get another reg to valuestack himself with JJ on A-Q-X vs his Q4sooted ( http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/464657 ). So yeah, he leaves shortly thereafter and I was going to leave as well, but there was another SS fish so I stayed.

So in the end I finished up 3k or something like that , maybe 2.5k which certainly isn't like super sick or anything but I'm very happy with the latter parts of the session, as I started out playing quite poorly with several hands I was very unhappy with. Oh well, I'm not sure how much sense I'm making, it's 8 am and I haven't slept yet, just very pleased with the results =] Almost green for 3/6 (I've had soooo many KK vs AA, QQ vs KK, QQ vs JJJ etc at 3/6 ;p, while I run like god on 2/4).
Maybe I'll keep playing (read: taking shots) 5/10 if the games are soft, but I don't really have enough to want to "move up".
2 days ago i tried to make as much money at 25nl coz of the rider thing and things went very very well first day, played like 7.7k hands and went up 16 to 17buyins. it was pretty awesome to run like that on the first day and gave me so much confidence i could at least sustain a big winrate over a huge sample there, (im also currently like not beating 100nl that well lately so i decided to take a little break and just fatten up my BR this month). day 2 was pretty much meh coz i had a ton of suckouts then went on a 6buyin downswing and almost tilted to a point seeing my nice 1st day graph go to the shitter, good thing i remained calm and the variance slut went on at day 3 too, recovered some and decided to end session for the day losing only 3buyins from my peaked BR on the 1st day. All in all im enjoying stress free poker for once in 6months and it feels pretty good too. oh well im out of words to goodluck and peace to you all.

I ran really bad in the live games and only put in 2 sessions 5 hrs each approx. Lost about $600 id say playing poker. The live players there were crazy and mad. I couldnt get a decent hand. I was sitting with my mate who was playing well and running exceptional, he'd have made $500 in 1 hr, and i had lost 5 laps of blinds - sick! hehe.
After my first losing session, i went and stayed wth my best friend and his GF in their house. They looked after me well.
I made 1k online yesterday, mainly playing 100NL 6 max, 100PLO 6 max. I then tried some 1/2 full ring hold em. Making 600.
Full ring is very soft. I can 3x bet ppl very light, and squeeze in the most obvious spots and ppl are folding.
I did have some bad luck today and run KK into AA $350 stack deep. Flat call his 3x bet, flop 353, he lead $40 i make $100, he shove i call.
I dont know why i flatted PF, i guess to look for a flop like 353 and stack JJ QQ etc Instead he has AA. I knew he could have AA, but i never really fold KK, especially on this flop i was what i was looking for.
Well one more final to go!!! Im out of school after friday for the summer wooo.
Today I just played some more limit. Still making plenty of mistakes and picking bad times to bluff. I was able to put in about 2.4k hands, so I still made some $. My win rate should definitely be higher though and wtf is with these ridiculously swingy sessions hehe :-X I also have been tightening up a little bit to reduce variance and just trying to pick my spots a little better.
