That's right... new version of Poker EV released today and the screenshots are pretty tight. The corners/windows are more clean cut just like the stars lobby. I dl'd the patch and it still looks the same wtf?
Then I find out for the past few weeks my hand histories weren't importing properly and had to DL the patch and figure shit out for 30 minutes. More tilt.
This past weekend I took 2 complete days off because I was tilting by relaxing, having lots of fun, and fucking. Twas awesome but I come back to play 1k hands today to run into some beats. This doesn't bother me at all but when the bad days stack together like this you start to question your own ability...
I read some past "quitting poker" threads to try to psych myself up for a comeback but poker has been weighing heavily on me for a long time I just don't understand...am I even a winner? The graphs says I am, PT says I am, but my BR doesn't reflect that. Here are some pics since May 20, almost a month worth of hands.
I'm afraid that because I was running hot, I won't be able to mentally handle running bad. Regardless, what am I doing wrong? Obviously I'm bleeding money in non-showdown pots. The past few days I've been trying to practice more post flop trix but may have bled off some chips. I'd appreciate genuine criticisms about my play or stats on stars...thanks LP
I was in Krakow from Tuesday - Saturday with a friend and his mother. We had a 3 bedroom apartment a few minutes from the main square. We basically just went out every day and ate decent food. I didnt by much down there except for a Poland sweater (since we were in Krakow when Poland played Austria, and i had to represent). I did however buy a pair of new D&G shoes which were really nice.
I didnt have a digital camera with me, so I took the pics with my cellphone.
I managed to visit two stripclubs, one of them worked out as a brothel too (No, I dont pay for sex). I am even going to apply to the Uni in Cracow/Krakow. Other then that, I am running beyond shitty, so please let me run good just once. I bought holdem manager, and it's a pretty sweet program I must say. Here is a graph:

How do i know if i just run good or i play good.I was in a month and half bad play & bad luck run and now im crushing 10nl rebuilding bankroll.The thing is im not sure how much i've improved.I completely changed my style of play and ever since i literally dont have a session i've ended up in red at PT.
made 30bi this weekend at 50nl. just table select, avoid "reg and nit" timezones, run like god = profit. moving up 3 days from now, just gonna crush this limit sammo coz I hated this limit for a long long time. redepositing my whole roll from ftp to get ready to take shot and permanently stay at 200nl if things at 100nl run decent enough for this week. i believe now i am ready for it after putting in so much work on my game, routine and just plain table and time selection this past few weeks.
Well I had a good friday/saturday (+5-6k) so I decided to play the $3k NLHE event. We started with 6k in chips and toward the middle of the 100/200/25 level I had a little more than 6k and raised KK utg to 525. Got a call from none other than LP's own Elky and 2 other donks. Flop J97, I C-bet 1500 and got shoved on by elky for about 4k more and I call to see QQ. He binks a Q on the turn and it's GG 3k event. We were about even in chips but he had me by like 200 or so. Anyways, back to the grind to see if I can't play any more events.

edit: I have asked for a lot of stakes - some have been short term, some long term. I tend to play better on stakes, and I don't have the kind of money that most people do IRL/I owed people money that they lent me, so I end up having to cash out my half of the profit a lot of times. Hence, I end up asking for more stakes than is normal.
i have k4s, i try to bluff a nit who limps with only monsters. well he limped PF and low and behold he has KK!!! a couple hands later i raise with like 65 on the button and he limp/flats...he check raises my cbet and of course i fold. he flips over AA like a shmuck
another hand - i have q4o in the BB, like 25 people limp (just kidding only like 4 or 5). i check my option, flop is Qc44. checks all around. turn is a club. i bet pot, 1 caller. river is a club, i bet about half the pot, get raised, i tank for a bit and shove and he snap calls and i insta flip my boat (he had a flush)
one of the first hands, i have AQs on the button, folded to me, the BB only has like $5 in chips (blinds .25/.50). so i just put a $5 in the middle. hes like oh man i know i can win this...rambles for like 5 minutes about how i'm an ass...and calls with k4s. hits his k on the flop and holds
and the big hand of the night, i have A8o on the button, 4 handed. drunk guy calls. flop is 238 rainbow. he open shoves and i call - he has J8ss. turn is a spade, river is a spade, giving him a flush. but he didn't know he had a flush because he was drunk and no one else was paying attention (their friend was just in the hospital so they were talking about that). what?!

Well if that ever happened to you, McCain thinks that you should have to keep the baby that results from it. Hell, the thinks you shouldn't have had sex in the first place. You should have been taught about abstinence in school rather than a regular sex ed class that explains what a condom is and how the reproductive system works, and what puberty is all about.

afte ri reached 2000BR again i tried a NL 100 session today
the shoot came earlier than i originally intended ... but i simply figured out that i beat NL50 so hughe that it was a waste if i didnt try another Nl100 session.
So i started playing.
1st thing i really realized now is that NL100 on Ipoker is much more like NL25Pokerstars then Nl50Ipoker
ure fold equity in big pots is close to zero >-<
80% of my NL50 winnings whith which i crushed it came from pure agression and being a sick aggro postflop player
i realized very soon today that this style will not work one bit at Nl100
As soon as people are in the pot they will either insta fold or they will play till showdown ...
So there is absolutely no way to bluff people out of big pots ...
i was - 450$ after just 400hands trying to play my NL50 style ...
Then i changed my style completely
Ofc since i figured out the style which whitch i approached Nl50 was not working on Nl100 and i had to change something.
so since every "reg" at Nl100 plays TAG hit or fold poker , i figured out the best way to beat them is polarize my preflop range more and play all kinds of low SConnectors...
this was the only way to make sure i can constantly win big pots vs them. ( since they overplay their overpairs and TPTK)
besides that i really tightend up so much postflop and did only maybe 3-4 bluffs in the next 2K hands
bluffs worked really well on NL50ipoker but on Nl100 Ipoker there is almost no chance ...
And hell it worked !
next 2000hands i had the biggest cashflow/hands i ve ever had in my life
i made + 520 $ in 2K hands with that strategy ! I stacked people left and right with my hidden 2pairs,trips and straights vs their overpairs and TPTK
-> lol that was 130$ net profit an hour ....
at hand 2400 i was + 70$ and about to quit the session ...
last hand unfortunetlly i had Nutstraight on a paired board vs an 87/30/2 donkey ...
this time he rivered FH being 150BB deep with me ....
so i was - 80$ again and didnt want to quit session ...
then i lost every flip vs shortsacks and also tilted a bit ...
finally ended down -230 overall

well BR is down to 1750$ again and i had a losing session which sucks ...

-I found a way from which i firmly belive is able to beat Nl100 for > 4BB/100
-I again progressed as a player
- session starting from where i adapted my strategy(including tons of ugly bad beats and coolers) was + 230$ in 2,1K hands which is really nice... ~ 6BB/100

today I lost some money but the expectet value of money i will make in the future drastically increased.
