Had a nice session on NL50 today, was being sucked out on some in the beginning but then started running a lil better
got pretty drunk during the session, was playing fairly loose & managed to finish the session up a lil more than 5BI.
Probably be playing more later, if not then tomorrow;
Heres my stats from todays session;
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 1623 hands and saw flop:
- 135 out of 234 times while in big blind (57%)
- 72 out of 227 times while in small blind (31%)
- 201 out of 1162 times in other positions (17%)
- a total of 408 out of 1623 (25%)
Pots won at showdown - 51 of 97 (52%)
Pots won without showdown - 189
vs bubbajoe/ivonovich - hmm, led out on my set here and had ivonivichichihcihch in there with me, figured him for TPw/FD or a smaller flush. Turn gave me no help and he came out firing, I decided not to muck incase he had a flush, and make a pretty shitty call. I then make my boat and shove hoping he has the Ad, but he didn't and folded.
It was probably a good turn call, his bet was pretty big, he didn't want a diamond to come.. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224286
vs croucher1979 - pretty obvious hes on a flush draw here, especially when the king pairs the board (he would have made a signifigant flop bet if he had a king to protect vs the open ender and FD), let him bluff the river~ http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224280
vs futsy - I like this hand, I never ever limp any high SC UTG, so I limp it here. Figure nobody can put me on it if I hit it. I don't do this more than 1% of the time, but its nice that it worked ;-) http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224288
vs MightyMonkey - led the flop trying to get reraised (made a bet that most donks make with the open ender), that didn't work but it panned out well, letting the AK hit top pair. River i check, see someone has something and try to represent a missed draw with a big bet. Worked http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224270
vs prentissscr - man I don't know what this guy is thinking, but we need to play with him more! Sweet pot for me! http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224265
vs yorbor32 - Yorbor donkbets out, I start building the pot and creating fold equity. Turn smashes gin for me, I bet enough to keep him in the pot. River he gives me the rest, sweet. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224263
vs Mrbeansack - open my sooted connector, lead flop, play it like aces and get paid. He was out of line reraising with his pp there anyways, let alone calling all-in with it. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224258
vs 3beers - I played this pretty bad, I should have realized the only thing hes reraising me here with on the river is a flush...psh..atleast he gets paid on his straight flush http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224253
vs oak1995 - I played this really bad I think, I won't bet these rivers 4way again..let alone call his reraise..so obvious I'm beat..lol (on second thought I do beat 25h and 35h!!!! lol) http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224273
vs mercadian - open my SC UTG, get alot of callers. They bet SO weak on flop trying to get me to define my hand or trying to get value on shitty hand or smthing, so I call with my 3STR8FlUSH, turn an open ender and let them bet again. Too bad they bet like 10 cents so I do what any logical pla<x>yer will do and represent a monster here. (For all they know I have Top/Middle set). Pick up a caller and shove river (which completes a straight) but he didn't have that much $ just incase he did have it. I think thats all he would have called me with here. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224242
vs egn174 - Open my AQ in MP and get a couple callers. Random donkbet from EP (Probably on a small PP(55-JJ)), I flat which is the line JJ-AA+AK takes here. Turn brings out the 3rd King so its hard to represent top quads, but still can represent AA/QQ/JJ and he could believe I have AK I assume. He flats and donks out the river to see if I was bluffing him..So I make a logical raise and steal it away. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224236
vs LushLauren - I like this one, I 3bet AK from the SB and get a caller, figure shes on AK or TT-AA obv. Flop my TPTK, and see no reason to bet here (I only get called by a hand that dominates me). I lead fairly weak on the turn and get called, then its time to ship the rest on the river. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224224
vs PlayinTW - This hand pretty much plays itself out, its obvious hes on a set when he makes this play, I'm not folding with all that in there though. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/224178
Started the night off with the $10 $15,000 GNTD and placed 160/2190, then went to cash games;
Played for an hour or so tonight, but wasn't really running to well or thinking too clearly so I decided to call it a night early.
Gonna go play some SC, get high n watch some movies
pm / msn me if you wanna play SC anytime soon;
Here are my stats from todays session;
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 1310 hands and saw flop:
- 95 out of 180 times while in big blind (52%)
- 52 out of 180 times while in small blind (28%)
- 122 out of 950 times in other positions (12%)
- a total of 269 out of 1310 (20%)
Pots won at showdown - 22 of 49 (44%)
Pots won without showdown - 132
Never really got rollin in this session, still managed to finish up 1/2 a BI.
So today was a really long day of poker for me, 13+ hours, but all in all it was a good one. I played in 100,000 tournaments today, and mananged to win $80 by the end of the day doing that. Couldn't really get many first places except first place in 1 of the $216 tournament ticket
tournaments. After getting discusted with tournaments, I opened up 12 NL50 tables and started the grind.
Today's session went very well, I managed to finish up over 6BI by the end of the session, while withstanding some bad beats, but I did run fairly well.
I feel like I now have my own st<x>yle down, which I would have never been able to formulate without the help of TL.
Last month and before that, my won % @ showdown was always between 42-48, this month I've managed to have it between 52-60% during almost every session. I'm hoping to maintain over 60% full-time, it should drastically increase my win rate.
Anyways, Here's today's stats; (not running 22-25% anymore, only play like that when I'm hitting like Jamie Gold)
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 3579 hands and saw flop:
- 230 out of 467 times while in big blind (49%)
- 98 out of 471 times while in small blind (20%)
- 270 out of 2641 times in other positions (10%)
- a total of 598 out of 3579 (16%)
Pots won at showdown - 84 of 140 (60%)
Pots won without showdown - 332
PS - 24,497 FPP away from Supernova..I can feel it now.
PSS - When you turn supernova does your hair turn yellow?
Well i took a couple of in-car vids in my last rally, i hope you like them:
Tc6: (the notes were a bit slow on the first part but then things started goinig faster, we found at the end of the stage 2 badly crashed Renault Clios, the white one upside down was driven by my best friendwatch the end of the stage)
Tc8: (a stupid woman somehow evaded security and you can see her in her car thankfully on the outside of the corner in minute 1.56, also the tach totally fell off and my girlfriend left a toilet paper (WTF?) at the car and it fell under the pedals! scary shit.)
Here are a couple of pics of the Crash, the story was, the Black Clio RS was from a local, he were winning the event (on D.O.T tires wtf!), he lost control and understeered into the rocks, it climbed them, flipped over and landed on its wheels again, 3 cars behind the white Clio were warned too late about the crash, tried to brake mid-corner, he lost the tail and crashed side to side (on the drivers side) and flew through the airs landing on its roof.
I must have gotten a life ban without hearing from a mod. I went to sign in to my name "jkpickett" and was redirected to disney.com's home page. Pretty clever I must say. Well this is my new start I guess since jkpickett (i'm assuming) is banned forever. Lesson learned...don't fuck with the mods (especially the ones with ego trips). GG jkpickett. You will be missed.
So I decided to stop screwing around on the microstakes and start playing my best in some tougher games (NL50).
Today went way better than I could have ever expected. At the beginning of the day I dropped 4 buy-ins with some coolers and some careless mistakes, I then took a few minutes off to regroup and opened the tables back up.
After restarting my session I started running great and playing my best. Before I knew it, I had won 12 buy-ins on NL50, one of the best days I've had in the last 3 weeks. I started making a few careless mistakes at the end of the session so I called it quits after dropping a couple pots I could have avoided.
Here are my stats from todays session on NL50;
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 3589 hands and saw flop:
- 235 out of 481 times while in big blind (48%)
- 153 out of 484 times while in small blind (31%)
- 384 out of 2624 times in other positions (14%)
- a total of 772 out of 3589 (21%)
Pots won at showdown - 93 of 174 (53%)
Pots won without showdown - 481
I'm gonna get stoned as hell n watch some high stakes poker for the next couple hours. I'll post some good hand analysis soon!
I still need to make over 4,000 FPP tomorrow to maintain platinumstar, so look for a ton of hands from me~
Today started off really slow on NL25, and went down -3BI due to variance, losing with cowboys vs jacks n so on for stacks..after a while I heated up and made back what I lost. During the session all I could think about was moving up and getting into some real games, so after I went up a couple BI's on NL25 I moved up to NL50 to see how I'd fair.
It's been over a month since I've played on these stakes, but I felt more comfortable than ever. My game is perfect for the NL50 dynamic and I definately get paid alot more there. I'm going to play NL10 & NL25 mostly, as I only have 20 buy-ins for NL50 which takes away from the comfort level. I'm definately going to take shots at the end of winning sessions on NL50 though, and hopefully be full-time there soon.
Heres todays stats;
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 2887 hands and saw flop:
- 225 out of 400 times while in big blind (56%)
- 126 out of 390 times while in small blind (32%)
- 363 out of 2097 times in other positions (17%)
- a total of 714 out of 2887 (24%)
Pots won at showdown - 92 of 160 (57%)
Pots won without showdown - 354
I'm going to go over a few key hands then go play some starcraft and relax, I'm only going to post large pots for now on, the smaller ones are pretty much never worth posting.
vs ekfrl - Open my AQ in MP behind the UTG limper, pretty standard. I was cont betting 3.5 into pretty much every pot I played, whether I was shutting down on the turn or continuing was up to what I had and my opponents holdings. He bought into my flop bet, and well... I just couldn't see him playing a set like this. Stacks went in and I took down a nice pot. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220624
vs redfall - I really don't know what this guy was thinking. Pretty obvious on the flop he has nothing, just flat and let him hang himself. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220622
vs FrankieF4F - Frankie had beaten me in 3 consecutive pots we had played together. I'm pretty sure he thought I was reraising him light out of frustration. I got a nice flop & stacks went in. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220615
vs Trigger1985 - Unfortunately I just lost a big pot on this table taking my stack from 80~35. Didn't reload, shit! Flopped a dream flop from the bb and semi-trapped trigger. My line screams set, can't believe he couldn't let it go. Oh well, guess he thought I was tilting from the pot before. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220608
vs Sir Poko - This was definately my worst spew of the day. I don't know what the heck I was thinking, but the only hands I beat is KT/KJ. Psh...I'm going to do my best to never spew like this again. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220606
vs JamesMax - Opened my QQ in MP and got a couple callers, along with an optimal flop. A couple open enders with a top pair lower than my QQ. I put out an overpriced bet for draws to draw to, and picked up a caller. At this point I'm putting him on a jack or something like QKs. I make him pay and he does just that. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220603
vs Steev1988 - sb vs bb - I didn't think he would be reraising me this light with my raising out of the sb behind a limper in MP. But oh well I was mistaken. I repopped and got value PF, but was scared to bet down since AK shrivels up on a 3across face card board. Was check calling just about any bet though. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220602
vs Super020 - Not really sure what this guy was thinking. I put him on a strong draw, maybe a completed flush. At this point vs his stack after the bets were made I wasn't going to fold so I just shipped it. Was happy he turned this hand over and not QK. I don't really like this play in the long run. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220599
vs Pityu85 - Good opportunity to bluff this river and pick up the pot. Put the villian on something like 9T, QJ or something like that. The river was perfect. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220594
vs Pokerpimus - This hand was nice, was pretty sold he was on a weak king til river. I think if he is on a king on this river a good C/R AI might be a strong play, what do you guys think? http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/220591
Well thats all I'm going to post today,
I'm going to have to make like 5k FPP in the next couple days if I want to maintain my platinumstar into the next month. Took a long time off this month and spent so much time on microstakes...kinda hurt me. Think I'm gonna enjoy a nice pipe & some starcraft for now. Worry about that later.
I went to the conclusion i fucking HATE FR, it's sooo boring, basically you wait for the nuts then try to trap a fish, repeat all day long, you don't even have to think at NL10. It's pure grinding, it's as painful as a shitty job like flippin burgers at Mc donalds. The real fun my friends is at 6 max ! I was so bored i thought fuck that let's try sum 6 max and throw in like 10k hands.
It was a blast, i think i'll never go back to FR, since im moving in 2 days my month stops now so here's the graph:
I'm definitly a 6 max pla<x>yer, im well rolled for NL25 so i plan to grind this level till i hit 1.5k or 2k BR then move to the next one and see what happens. I heard NL50 is rigged at Pokerstars, plus i hate to see how much rakeback i lose playing there, makes me sick to my stomach when i see PTracker and it says i could have won like 200-300$ just in rakeback. Im a greedy sob so i'll prolly switch to an other site when i can move to NL50 and get an awesome rakeback + bonus.
I'll look to sign up through lp.net since i think i owe this site a shit load of free knowledge and would like to contribute as much as i can.
Ptracker stats:
Besides poker we move to the new house this saturday and since im a lazy bastard, i paid a company to bring my shit over there. So no more Intarwebz and no more Poker for the next 3 days at least, badbeat. Now new house has a nice swimming pool and i will prolly BBQ like crazy in the next days, heater.
Im very surprised by the results of lp.net members at Wsop, i mean wow just amazing. We got some very talented pla<x>yers around here and i can't believe they share their knowledge with us, thanks guy and i hope u guys keep crushing the wsop this year. Speciale cassededi a Cuts, j'espere que tu vas remporter un bracelet cette annee vieux.
I have been real lazy about putting in hands since the new CPU. I'm not sure why... I think it's because its Summer Summer time and I'm always riding my bike and going to the gym and lately these bike rides have turned into like 5 hour affairs? There's just a lot going on living near the beach and stuff so it gets to be pretty fun just flinging around.
With the laptop exploding and me being lazy I doubt I've put in more than 20k hands this month (I can't tell exact # because my old PT db's bit the dust). Since I've gotten the new CPU I've only put in like maybe 5k hands. Pretty much junk.
I started playing late tonight (1am my time) which is a time I almost never play. Decided to play some six max since it's been awhile. I was kind of immediately uncomfortable, maybe underestimated how tired I was. The action was going pretty fast too and I ended up deciding to quit because for the first time in a long time I was feeling kind of just uneasy and nervous in spots where normally I'm captain fearless.
There was definitely some interesting hands though... you should check these out. Any commentary/criticism on the hands is greatly appreciated. I'll spare you my logic in some of them, see if you can figure out what the hell I was thinking...
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/219946 - not shoving flop probably bad, but i figured 3-handed his range wasn't great and the odds of him bluffing turn greater
It's annoying that I'm not putting in the hands, and it probably is a direct result of poor sleep habits and overworking myself at the gym and stuff. However, it's good that I'm not trying to force play when it's not EV+.
To be, or not to be, that is the question. Whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows....
what the fuck? as I type this at 1pm I am still drunk from last night. I was pretty convinced I could tackle a Pint of Hot Damn 100 and a 12pack of beer. I made it through the pint, and got a few beers in, although it's a murky and hazy memory.
I also got high for the first time last weekend while camping. I was convinced that there was a conspirary in the campground because the slope there that was maybe a 10degree decline turned into a 75degree decline whilst high.
It also felt like my face was melting and everything everyone said was so interesting, and I just had the most awesome deep thoughts.
It burned the shit out of my lungs/throat though. I think I'm gonna go grab the rest of my beer and continue drinking into the wee hours of the night.
btw, nickelback and hinder are the fucking most annoying terrible pop shitass bands ever.
ps someone plz buy me a laptop, this computer is a piece of shit, save me plz, or rather MezmerizemePLZ
What a fun day of NL25 today was. So I started out playing very fast on NL25 and well, it was definately not panning out at all. I was down about 6 BI's after two hours, and buckled down and started playing my absolute best poker.
Before I knew it, I started running better and picking my spots very carefully. Being down as much as I was, my focus was extremely intense as well as my intuition.
I managed to win back the 6 BI's I lost and two more on top, to finish the morning off on a great note.
Here are my stats from todays session:
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 6336 hands and saw flop:
- 462 out of 871 times while in big blind (53%)
- 236 out of 844 times while in small blind (27%)
- 703 out of 4621 times in other positions (15%)
- a total of 1401 out of 6336 (22%)
Pots won at showdown - 162 of 326 (49%)
Pots won without showdown - 842
I'd go through analysis of the hands, but after 18 hours of playing *6 hrs of tournaments and 10 hrs of cash with a few small breaks* my mind is just too spent to give the hands appropriate analysation.
Lets just say that I was making some careless mistakes in the beginning, revamped my mind and started playing my A game. I REFUSED to quit before I got above my even point, and did just that, and managed to pull a nice profit on top of it.
Tomorrow I will post alot of analysis of todays hands before my new session begins.
I also got to get alot of FPP's that were very much needed. I'm getting closer to supernova everyday, I can't wait.
So I woke up today and felt like doing something different. Cash has been going very well, but I was in the mood for a change so I hit up the donkament circuit. I started with the 5R which I placed 366th in for a small chunk of change, then didn't place in like 10 of the $4 180 man SnG's. After that, I joined 10 more. Before I knew it I had FT'd 3 of them, getting 3rd in 2 of them. Lost KK vs A3, AK vs KJ, and something else I can't remember. Frustration really set in and I was on a rampage. So I joined one last one for the night, Ran up a 20k stack in about 5 minutes and have been the chipleader the whole way. Theres like 20 left, lets see if I can take first in this one.
(update) - I finished 11th in this one, losing AQ vs QQ (the guy lost 1/2 his stack the hand before this, I put his range on 77-AA, JQs-AK) figured I had to call. Obviously I didn't spike my ace like they always do to me. Oh well...
Other than that, I'll probably be playin cash tables later tonight if I still have the energy. I don't think I'm going to anayalze the NL25 hands from last night, but lets just say they were really juicy. I tried to take any spewy plays out and played extremely solid. I was still raising sooted hands from everywhere and squeezing with pocket pairs everywhere. Before I knew it, I was up 5BI's and called it a night. Today I'm up about $150, and still have this final table to play (im currently on the 5 minute break). Hopefully I can take this down and have a sexy profit for tonight. Either way, its been a fun day. I think I'm gonna spend a couple days a week doing these tournaments and 3-4 days a week doing cash games. I'm definately consider myself better at cash, but probably only feel that way since I'm always getting sucked out on in these donkaments.
Guess that goes without saying when you always go in with the best hand..lol
Best of Luck to everyone,
Ryan (DReaMe)
PS - Tournament days dont give shit for FPP's, f*king gay!
After sitting in today, I started picking on pretty much every weak player I saw. Before I knew it, I was running at 25% agaaaaain. (Which I'm starting to love actually, since I get paid on every single high pp and strong ace I hit) I ran a million bluffs into anyone I considered to be nitty and played from my gut all day. Finished the day up 6Bi's, but threw 3bi's away in tournament entry fees. Oh well, still a nice winning day, I can't complain.
Heres my stats from today; (this includes 1,300 hands from NL25 that I did not analyze yet, I will post those key hands tomorrow)
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 2642 hands and saw flop:
- 204 out of 356 times while in big blind (57%)
- 145 out of 360 times while in small blind (40%)
- 326 out of 1926 times in other positions (16%)
- a total of 675 out of 2642 (25%)
Pots won at showdown - 89 of 154 (57%)
Pots won without showdown - 380
I'm really loving this lag style, it makes me not care at all about anything except finding a way to win every possible hand.
Playing with 45 BI's is so comfortable, I've been putting everyone to a test every opportunity I can, raising strong sooted hands from everywhere (as long as the limpers infront have atleast a full buy-in),and outplaying the weak competetion on NL10-NL25.
I also played in some of the $216 tournament ticket tournaments today, and got extremely unlucky. I got a random donk to shove allin on a 558 flop with A7, I had J8. There were 5 remaining and I was 3rd in chips, if he didn't hit his 14% shot I would have definately won the $216. Turn was an A and gg..w/e. I want him to do that.
I'll post a few key hands from today here;
Best hand of the day by far:
vs Carlos Loos and Plazon - Since all the pla<x>yers in the hand were sitting so deep I flat the bet oop with a strong sooted connector, figuring I can get paid hard if I hit this hand. Carlos leads the flop real cheap, I put him on a FD, maybe with a gutterball. Plazon pops it up to almost a PSB. I think for 30 seconds and 3bet him. To my suprise, both pla<x>yers call? Turn blanks and its time to ship the rest of my stack into the pot. Again, extremely suprised, both pla<x>yers instantly call. As I think "no diamond dont pair the board, no diamond dont pair the board, no diamond dont pair the board), it does just that and I rake in a massive pot for NL10. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218453
Here's a key hand from one of the $4 180 man SnG's I had today, I was in 10th in chips with 80 to go. made me puke http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218530
At the FT of the $216 ticket tournament, the hand before I busted. I never saved the J8 vs A7 hand, was pissed and closed it. I can't really call this, but if I did, I would have been sittin real pretty. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218524
vs dubfive - I was raising fairly often from MP, and was extremely confident I would have been reraised from an AJ-AK. That being said, I put his flop call on a medium PP. 44-99. No reason to give up since his hand is defined so well. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218488
vs skull222 - There were a few limpers, then an extremely weak raise. I was given extremely good odds to call PF with my sooted garbage so I jumped. Flopped two pair, led out. Figured the villian for a FD at this point, so I bet 1/2 pot on turn to suck him in. To my suprise he shoves overthetop when I'm sitting there with the preverbial nuts. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218476
vs golfnoodle1 - This hand made me think of the conversation that was taking place in the high stakes forum about the TJ2 flop, where AK led out and got shoved allin. After stoving they came up with the AK was nearly 45%. I would have normally folded this before reading that. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218470
vs SouthernBust - Southernbust raises out of the SB behind multiple limpers which screams JJ-AA. I call to flop a set, and do just that. From there I 3 bet him on the flop, and well, no NL10 pla<x>yers fold the overpair here. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218457
vs crajun - shorthanded table so I raise KTs UTG. Pick up a caller in the BB. Got minreraised on the flop and was kinda scared of a set, but for only 1 BI I'm gonna call to see the turn with my 3 flush and two pair possibilities. Turn hits my two pair with the ten. Villian leads out less than 1/2 pot bet, which makes me reaaaally think he has 77 or 88, but like I said, its 1 BI and its NL10. I ship it in and get paid. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218455
vs Oldnailman - I check my set knowing someone has to bet this board no matter what. Nailman comes out firing, at this point I put him on AK, and figure the best way to get paid is to overbet the pot and represent TJh or a strong drawing hand similar to it. He buys into my 4 bet, and from there its payday. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218452
vs Kobern and Iknowbenzz - This was my first large pot of the day, and well, was frustrating as heck. I pop my nines up behind a limper to isolate. Pick up two callers and flop my dream flop. Open ender & FD on board vs my set. I'm thinking im gold here, and 5bet the initial raiser attempting to stack someone on top two or even a strong ace. Also to make the FD pay maximum price to try to draw out on me. To my suprise I get shoved back. All I can think is he has a huge multidraw or top two. WRONG. http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/218451
Was a fun session, I enjoyed it very much. I should have finished up way more but like I said, I played too many of the $4 SnG's and didn't cash in any of them. Busted 20th in one, had 88 UTG with a 2500 stack at 300/600, had to shove it. Was called by AQ and he hit two pair to take me out.
I'm 29,542 VPP away from Supernova, boy will that be a welcome day! I can taste the fat bonuses now ;-)
GL to everyone, please critique any leaks you see, thanks.
