its only the 16th and i managed to grind 900~ 6max sngs. This is probably a personal record for me in terms of volume...shows how lazy I am. I'm on my way to diamond status on AP so just g2 continue the grind. However, I g2 step it up because I'm only 45% there. After 2000 6max sngs, i can safely say that I destroy these games. Here's my 6max graph so far for november.

so it's been a little over a month since I tried out 6max and it has both its pros and cons. Some of the pros of 6 max sngs are:

-ability to 10+ table thus increasing hourly
-requires less thinking so I can grind much longer than heads up(i can actually watch tv shows which was not possible even when I was 1 tabling hu)
-can maintain diamond status on ap cuz of the high volume+much higher rb

However some of the cons are:
-Don't really improve as a player as 90% of my plays are making the right fold,call, or shove preflop
-can't really table select but this doesn't really apply cuz I try not to table select(anymore) in hu either
-variance is higher than hu(well for me it is and I don't think that's gonna change)

Now the question is... should I focus purely on 6max as my hourly is about 30-50% higher than my hourly for HU. Or... focus on improving my game and play around 50% HU. What do you proz recommend? Were any of you grinders in a situation where you were debating between 6max vs hu? What were the deciding factors? This is hard for me because I don't feel like I have more edge in 1 or the other. My roi for both is around 6-8%.

almost all 6max(70% 300 chips and 30% 1500 chips). mite go back to hu for november though. hu=less variance for me =/

i mentioned before that I would try out the 300 chip 6max sngs and im pretty happy i did. my hourly $ is much higher there since i can play 10+ tables so i made my decision to become a 6max grinda. To get comfortable with the 6max dynamics, i started off at the 20s-35s. i'm going to continue to do so until end of oct and im gonna start taking shots all the way up to 65s. treat me well november, plz.
