"Yesss!"
  OpWestAcct, Dec 09 2010

Is what I said today when I flopped my first set in 9k hands in a three bet pot with 55. Me and villain are 230bb deep. "Unbelievable" is what I said at the end of the hand when we got it in on the river after he turns a set with 99. Two other funny hands:

I 3 bet button with 55 - he flats - Flop J46r - I cbet - He flats - Turn 5 - I c/shove and he shows 78s.

I 3bet light with A5s - 50bb SS cold calls - flop 456 - I shove - he shows 45s. Who cold calls 1/5th of their remaining bankroll with 45s?

This month has been so frustrating.

FUUUUUU!!
  OpWestAcct, Dec 03 2010

I should have quit hours ago. I am raged with tilt right now. I had one of those sessions where you start off losing and you continue to lose. I swung down $600 then I was down only $200 then I swung down $800 then I got back to fucking even and I hate not making a profit every fucking session so I continue to play. I never EVER fucking got $1 in the green. As soon as I get close to even I just get fucked and fucked and fucked. I was put in so many stupid fucking spots today and everybody had a hand every time. Finish the session down $612. Fucking waste of ten hours. I can't even count how many times there was one or two cards I didn't wanna see hit and they hit every time. Coolered over and over again. I can't remember one time I 3 bet AK - hit the flop - and got paid at all. And I'm sure I 3 bet it about 25-35 times this session.

Also I am too lazy to find the hand but here is how the session went. I raise AJo get a call from button. Flop KQ6 I barrel. Turn 9 - I barrel. River 8. KQ698r Pot~$48 I bet $39 and get called by 64o.

November
  OpWestAcct, Nov 30 2010

Well after being insanely nervous about moving up to NL 100 Rush - looks like it went well. Started on the 12th (Was in LA playing live poker the first 1/2 of month) and ran into quite a bit of trouble at first. But everything smoothed out and I got comfortable and activated beast mode.

I'm really excited about December as it could be, by far, my biggest winning month ever in terms of overall profit. I have a $500 Black Card bonus I will clear, I plan on winning the rake race for $750, and to do so I will generate about $1500 in rakeback. Ship a decent 20 buy in month and I'll be looking at $4750 in the green. Cheers and good luck.

I have never in my life seen such an amazing sequence of college football games like this weekend. Every big game (including Georgia vs Georgia Tech) was down to the last minutes. So sick - Go Auburn!! And rofl at the biggest upset (Nevada vs. Boise State) Since Appalachian State vs Michigan 3 years ago.

Can I get a hell yeah?
  OpWestAcct, Nov 20 2010

Oh ... My ... God!! Yes!! If I could post graphs I would but I'm a noob and can't get it to work. Anyways so I was hanging out with my buddies last night till about 1 am and decided I feel good enough to play a NL 100 session. I usually use a 3 buy in stop loss but I looked at my cashier 25 minutes into the session and I was down $500. HOw? I don't even know... All I could remember was getting sucked out on for 2 of my stacks and where the other 3 went? So naturally I keep playing and a little over a hour later I'm down $1100 (Although this was my fault as I can remember I called off a 175 bb flop shove with a double gutter). So I go to sleep dreadfully. I wake up today and having a day off of work I decide to recover. Started off rough going up $200 and then down $300. And then I started shitting on people over and over and over again. I didn't really start making hands till the last couple hours of my 9 hour session today - Mainly just rebluffed a lot of regs and played solid against the fish and random. I just finished about 20 minutes ago and I made $1250 plus about $150 in rakeback. I can't believe I got out of this nightmare so easily... Ship it!!! So from last night and today's session stats are: 8.6k hands, $600 below EV, 20/15/4.5, and made $270 including rakeback.

Weee Sawww
  OpWestAcct, Nov 17 2010

Just finished my 4th session at NL 100. Getting a fucking grip of this limit and starting to shit on the regs. For the first time in my life I am playing well within roll and it's given me something great. I am the type of player that HAS to have 40+ buy ins behind. I love to make moves and maximize my fold equity in many spots and put tons of pressure on the opponent. Of course I fail sometimes and people hero call me but that's why I have another 40-50 buy ins so I can try some more =D. At first I felt like I was getting ran over and even though I am double barreling a lot of spots I shouldn't and making some spewy calls I feel much more in control. It also shows too because the first couple of days the regs were 3 betting me every chance they had and now they have backed off so much.

Below is a graph of my journey of building up another online roll. Began at the beginning of September on NL 10 with $100 (Also took about a month off in this time)

Plus about $1600 in rakeback and a couple tourney cashes early on.

2nd Sesshhh
  OpWestAcct, Nov 15 2010

Just finished my 2nd session at NL 100. It was 10 hours and 9k hands long and the most ridiculous thing I think I have ever played in my poker career. My first session was yesterday and I finished up $40 after 1k hands so I didn't really get a taste of the difference in NL 50 and NL 100. The aggression is 5 fold. People don't just check down boards when they don't hit. They double barrel - constantly. I never knew I could flat flop and turn with air and then barrel a blank river card and get a fold - That just doesn't happen at NL 50. The 3 betting was ridiculous and even with all my experience I was about to crack. I literally had to 4 bet and call a shove with A9o vs one guy who shipped 88. Made some spews... Had a few guys hero call my bluffs and got coolered in some big pots that I really needed. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. I don't know how to battle the constant 3 bets. It seems like every time I raise a pocket pair or a suited connector I get 3 bet and don't know how to react since the situation comes up a million times a session. Ended up finished down $350 which I am fine with considering I made about $135 in rakeback this session alone and I was down $900 at one point.

Moving up
  OpWestAcct, Oct 19 2010

So I started from scratch with $100 at NL 10 about 10 weeks ago. Due to a massive heater and a new mindset/discipline I managed to grind through NL 10/NL 25 and then went to NL 50 @ $1250 and after 42k hands there my roll sits at $3600. So here comes the dilemma.I have probably played around 400k hands at NL 50 throughout the past two years - It is where I am most comfortable at. But I now have 36 buy ins for NL 100 and I think it's time to stop fucking around and progress my game even further, especially since I have been playing for 2 years online and am only at NL 50. Can some more experienced players please offer me some guidance and feedback on what to expect when I move up. Keep in my mind I have played solely Rush Poker and plan on continuing to do so.

Never stops
  OpWestAcct, Apr 13 2010

Febuary was a magical month where I made $2300. I have lost at least 80% of the sessions I have played in January, March, April. This is just from the past week and half. Honestly, how can I run bad for so long.
