Started the month playing rush like a super huge aggressor. Worked briefly until people started adjusting hard. Lowered tables to 2 instead of 4 in order to pay more attention to quality of play over quantity. Been putting an effort to post hands and get feedback more this month. It's helping a lot.


+ about $60 rakeback

= $85

Not great. Definitely room from improvement, but at least I haven't lost anything. Roll at about $760.

I accomplished the goal of putting in some serious volume this month, at least from my standards. I made a couple hundred which isn't bad for only being at NL 10. I successfully managed to make a successful adaptation to NL 25 in my 3rd shot. Now I am at a comfortable roll and feel really good about playing the stake. Not scared anymore by the amount of money involved. Here is the graph for my full ring results for the month. Random jump in the graph is when I started putting serious NL 25 play in from NL 10.



I also took $25 that was sitting on poker stars and tried out some NL 50 heads up by buying in for 20bb to fuck around. Didn't go busto (although I did catch a runner runner flush to save my roll) so I guess thats a good thing. Here's my HU results for the month.



add in rakeback and I guess it's a solid month.

Goals for February
- Put in around the same amount of volume. Ideally above 35000 hands.
- Get roll up to 1K
- Start mixing up NL 50 with NL 25 once I get an established roll.

I didn't fail on the NL 25 shot


pretty much been 3bet bluffing more, double barreling more, and opening up my range a lot for image. Been helping so far to get paid off with better hands. Small sample I know, but it's a start.


Solid roll now. Need to be consistent and deal with the swings.

Hello everybody. It has been awhile since I put up a serious blog post, partially cause I've been embarrassed with my results. However, things are going in the right direction and I'm looking forward to future possibilities.

Full Tilt Progress

My primary focus this month was to put in a fairly large volume of full ring NL 10. My winrate is not a good as I would like it to be and I really felt like I tilted a lot of times and could have easily prevented some losses. Almost all of these hands are NL 10. However, I have recently started easing into NL 25 but playing most tables of NL 10 and adding a few NL 25 tables with it in order to be comfortable, prevent massive tilt, and try to play the same for both stakes. Haven't put up a huge NL 25 sample yet but I will consistently do this mixing until I feel comfortable enough to completely make the switch. Results so far this month.


discovering HU

Got some inspiration from edzwoo on trying out HU. I've never tried it cause I don't have a roll to full stack $50. Edzwoo gave some examples of how HU winrate can be higher because it's 1v1 between you and a huge fish vs the huge fish at one big full ring table. Had like $25 on stars for tourneys and stuff and decided to degen it up and give this stuff a shot. Here's what happened.


Obviously running like god. So now when I'm bored from mass tabling on full tilt I just go hit and run some retards on stars.

Still got plenty of time this month to keep doing great and am looking forward to future progress in all areas of poker. Looking forward to making the complete transition from NL 10 to NL 25 on full tilt and building up a big enough roll to buy in for more at stars HU.

Going very well so far


Goal is to get about 35-40k hands this month. I've decided to grind out some volume and over roll before I attempt NL 25 again. Everytime I've taken a shot I've gotten my soul crushed and massively tilted. I think I might try mixing NL 10 and NL 25 tables when taking the next shot to ease into it a little rather than jumping right into 8 tables of straight up NL 25. I think this would lower the tilt level.
